Perfect place to go for a homemade breakfast lunch or dinner. Cozy place with lots of history of the village. With a amazing view of the river.

Passed through on a Saturday drive with my wife. We decided to try the poutine, bacon cheeseburger & Club sandwich, we opted for takeout, I did not find the price to be bad if the food had of been to the caliber of standard home style restaurant quality, The staff was very polite and for that the third star was deserved, upon finding an area that was close by ( down the hill ) to enjoy our supper we opened our dishes with enthusiasm, But honestly was sadly disappointed on what was inside. Our dishes were constructed with tinfoil separating the poutine from the sandwiches, this would have been okay but not desirable as most are packaged separately. The fries were low portions, undercooked and low quality with a freezer burn flavour, Gravy was bland and certainly canned, which is still to be expected but certainly not desirable over low grad fries. My club sandwich was poorly constructed with a soggy tomato no lettuce and extremely wet, not at all of what the picture depicts on the menu photos above, The flavour was to the standard of the poutine, The cheeseburger was also equally low par and had the same freezer burn flavour within the patty the bun somehow managed to be dry and wet at the same time tasting as if the best before was a week prior to eating. Hopefully this review does not come off negatively as I’m trying to be honest about the experience and hopefully with constructive criticism. I’d also note that we did not consume much of the dishes due to the mentioned above, but decided to not return for a refund. We just took it as a lose of $41.00 ($35) plus tip and moved on. The staff was very friendly and for that I did leave a 3 star on the review on an otherwise single star dish. This location certainly has potential and I’m sure if the food quality was kicked up a couple notches it would be worth the drive.

Update 2019: Not much has changed. Glad they are in the village... could be so much more with real homemade bread, speciality coffee and get rid of the microwave. Definately go in and try this place. The village needs options.2917 - Average food. But it is nice to have something in the village. Prices are fair.

We went in tonight for supper. The place is very clean and attractive. The aroma was wonderful and encouraging. So we ordered fish cakes and corn bread. Delicious and delightful. The waitress was lovely and the cook is a nice lady also. The cheesecake was incredible and the pop was just pop. Lol. I want to go there for all of our special occasions It is well worth the drive! After posting I see with my phone it posted using one of my job titles. We are Tim and Gail Brown had to edit.

Beautiful little spot in picturesque Gagetown. Food was good, prices were reasonable. They are taking reasonable safety precautions given the situation, and they are doing take out and eat in currently. You should call ahead to reserve, but they may have seating available if you show up. Would definitely go again. Restaurant is wheelchair accessible, no ramp needed. Did no notice bicycle parking but there is ample motor parking givein its town centre location.

Very friendly owner and staff, very delicious omelette, healthy serving of French toast, endless coffee. Recommend here for any meal.

Waiter was kind and friendly. Highly recommend making reservations. Located in a beautiful little town, great for a short walk. Food options are basic, mostly sandwiches soups and salads. Fish cakes are delicious! I would go here again.

Wow. That's all I can say. This place has a VASTLY improved menu from the last time I visited (which, to be fair, was 15 years ago). The salmon cakes were crispy and tender, the veg was fresh. The sweet potato and curry soup was outstanding. So much so, we ordered seconds to go. The apple pie was hot with a flaky crust that I loved. The chai crème brûllée was also outstanding. The staff were all friendly and with one young fella in training, I really noticed the patient way the chef was explaining his duties and sending him back out to customers for more information. Will definitely return.
