Smoothy's Restaurant

We were the only two in the restaurant and it took well over 10 minutes to get served. The food itself took another 15 minutes or so. I would have to rate the food about a 7 out of 10 for what you'd expect at a truck stop. I would prefer going to moonbeam which isn't that further away. Being that is said, it sure filled a spot

Friendly staff, generous and resonably managed accommodation for #Carnivore Diet. Reasonable waiting times. Cozy yet spacious. Would love to visit when busy !Repeat customers here.Hours of operation not so great. Friendly towards other local businesses!

There is a real problem in staffing and food inventory for this place. Stopped in at 11am on a Sunday hoping for a hearty breakfast as is usual for a truck stop. This is not a truck stop though they give you a trucker's menu. No eggs! No bacon! No staff! Waited 15 min before getting a menu, another 10 for order taking, only to be told 10 min later there is no eggs .. pointed to the pancakes, bacon & hash browns on the menu, and asked if they still had pancake batter and she thought that would be ok. My brother ordered the same. Then she came out to ask if peameal bacon would do, by this time we were hungry and just wanted to eat, so ok, peameal. My order arrived 10 min. later, my brother's was coming. Two small pancakes, three thin slice of peameal, nice portion of hash browns. I was almost finished when my brother's order came, and he took one bite of his pancake and found it frozen in the middle. That's when I noticed that these pancakes were frozen Eggo style. Not something you'd expect for over $9 Cdn. I was hungry so I had eaten mine, but brother ate his hash browns and we had had enough. Thankfully, we were charged for only one meal.The original greeter was not a pleasant woman. Took forever to get coffee, had to ask for creamer, had to ask for refills again waiting forever .. only enough coffee to refill one cup, and she never came to refill the other ... her attitude makes me think she purposely left my brother's meal behind for the other girl to notice 10 min. later that it was still waiting to be served. .. the other girl seemed horrified when we told her about the frozen pancakesThis place was fairly busy .. it was a Sunday .. all the other's had to wait as we did .. can't say what their meals were, but one group of 4 women had to leave because their meals took so long, what with the lack of ingredients and then after an hour and no meals the server told them they would have to order from the lunch menu ... other's were far from pleasedIf I could give no stars, I would .... the gas station there is very busy .. the restaurant should be a gold mine .. it should be closed until they get their act together

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast on Sunday. First time we have ever been here. The waitress was quick and friendly. The food came fast and was hot. Everything was amazing. I was very surprised! Keep up the good work!!

This is a terrible place owner and staff where incredibly rude. we showed up during lunch hour and where told that they wanted to close for the day while other patrons where eating in the establishment. Wasn’t our first time there and didn’t expect much from previous experience but the way we where treated was incredibly rude no explanation just attitude one of the other customers look like he was in shock. Food isn’t great to start off with and service like that not sure how they stay open.However they did tell us to go try Ellie’s bistro down the road and what a hidden gem that place ended up being. Will never be going back to this place now.

Great place to stop by when your cold! It was freezing out so we stopped by so I could warm up with a hot chocolate and get my boots dry. Service was great and fast and there hot coco really fixed me up! Overall great place to stop by at!

Got bacon n eggs to go. Eggs were supposed to be over easy, still Rae, bacon still raw ( my dog enjoyed it). Coffee was supposed to be included nope, plus it was garage i threw it out. Check the best before dates on chocolate or any other snack u buy there...Over priced and garage

New owners... so I'm updating my review. Easily the best fries I've had. Worth stopping by and having lunch. Fast service and good food.

What a pleasant experience!! The gal running the facility wad friendly, cooked the food superbly. The room was clean, neat and comfortable.Lovely time had with my friends.

It is a great place to fill up both of your tanks!
