I would like to share my recent experience with Mark Armitage Desjardins Insurance Agent and the staff. My husband and I have been with them for so many years: Jim longer than myself. They were very supportive, helpful and quick to respond to our needs in settling our claim. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Once again, Mark's team is able to promptly respond to concerns, provide professional and honest advice, all while making sure we are fully covered for what is needed. We have been a client of this office for over two decades, and when we needed them, they always made us feel supported by listening and responding quickly to make an awful situation better. Forever grateful for these wonderful folks.

Dealing with Mark and his office has been great. In the middle of a home purchase and business restructure, I had fallen behind and become quite disorganized. Mark's team, in particular Shawn was great at following up in all communications and helping me stay on track through the process of registering multiple insurance products with them. Overall, I'm pleased with the attention to detail, communication, and good product prices.

Due to health issues I was unable to call during the day, they kept calling me but not saying why, leaving out important information like I needed to have x amount of money in my bank. They know I don't have the money but they just keep charging me over and over. Three $45 NSF fees and they want me to pay their fees as well. No reason why they can't have a regular bill that you pay afterwards like phone or internet. It's ok if you're never going to run out of money... But for us poor working folk I wouldnt touch this place with a 20 foot pole

Amanda has helped me find the wright government for my business. They took the time to answer my questions, suggested coverage I had not thought off and told me not to take some that I did not need.

Ask for Shawn, she is an amazing agent. She helped me a lot and could do a lot over email. Super fast replies and very very helpful.

Alex Armitage of Mark Armitage Desjardins is an absolute pleasure and delight to work with. Recently, I had a car accident and Alex guided me throughout the process which involved getting my car towed to an autobody shop, seeing it properly repaired, and ensuring that I was well taken care of with a rental car. She checked in with me regularly to make sure that things were progressing as the process took several months due to car parts shortages and things beyond our control. I am very happy with my experience, and I will recommend her services to my friends and family.

I have been with this office, Mark Armitage for the past 26 years as one of their original customers. I have always found the products that they sell to be of good quality and great value, and I know as I have about 10 policies with them for various things (house, cottage, vehicles, boats etc.) In comparing prices with friends and others, I always found that my costs were comparable or lower than what others were paying. The staff are very friendly, easy to deal with and very responsive to our insurance needs, whether its adding another policy for a new purchase, or changing something, they respond quickly and get you the documents immediately as needed. Even during Covid times, they are either only a phone call or email way and click, the change is made. We once had to make a roof claim several years ago because of severe damage after a major storm, I called their office, a claims adjuster came out within a couple of days, took measurements and photos of the damage, went back to their vehicle and immediately handed us a cheque to cover the cost of replacing our shingled roof. We were not locked into getting a contractor thru them, we could do as we wanted to with the money, so we used it towards the purchase of a steel roof. Both my husband and I have had collisions with deer in the past and each time our vehicles were repaired very quickly without any real disturbance to our life.So, yes I would highly recommend Statefarm/ Now Desjardins Insurance and this particular office, Mark Armitage. The staff there are the best.
