Food is great, SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. Waiters don't know the first thing about customer service. Takes forever to get them to assist you even though restaurant was almost empty. Our table was very wobbly and they declined our request to move to a different table as they said these tables are only for 8-10 people"

There's a reason why this place is cheap!! We ordered 7 dishes, along with a deluxe fried rice and the fried rice took TWO HOURS to show up at the table. The food was EXTREMELY SALTY (even by Chinese restaurant standards). We ordered five spice squid and could only taste salt - what were the other four spices?!? This place may as well have been self serve as anything we told a server had to be asked for MULTIPLE times. Our food took an HOUR and a HALF to get to the table when the restaurant was virtually empty. To talk about cleanliness, there were dirty dishes left at tables for an insane amount of time. My son refused to go to the bathroom as it was clearly unattended to for a long time and the dining room doesn't look like it's been wiped down/swept in days. I can ONLY IMAGINE what their kitchen looks like. We ordered five bubble teas and two of them tasted like sugar water and food coloring. The owner refused to compensate us at all. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE. If I could rate this place 0 stars, trust me I WOULD! This is quite possibly the WORST restaurant in Winnipeg.

I used to love this restaurant so much! Celebrated my two Son’s Baptismal and 1st Birthday party here. And planning to celebrate my Son’s 7th birthday here again but unfortunately not anymore! The restaurant is a mess. Went there to attend party and the place was messy and disgusting! You’re like in a sauna where its so hot! Washroom is crazy messy and lots of cluttered things behind the banquet and water all over the floor. I can imagine if the place was like that what more their kitchen where they cook the foods we eat. Cutlery are disgusting and not cleaned!

Cramped and crowded. Some of the restaurants supplies and equipment are stored on a side in the dining area. Came here for a party. Food was served buffet style with no labeling and proper lighting to visually see the food. I don't even think the station was keeping the food piping hot. Pop served in dispensers that was pre-poured into the container like a Brita water dispenser. Fire exit is blocked by the restaurants supplies/property used as storage. If there is a fire, and the restaurant is crowded, for sure people will get hurt or possibly worse.Food is below average with no taste, however it may be because it was buffet style and not a la carte.Staff member from the kitchen was adding fresh food to the buffet area, but had a sleeveless shirt on. Yum!Either way, better off going somewhere else.

Used to love this restaurant. Unfortunately it’s not what it used to be. We waited 50 minutes for our food(dine-in) before we got the first dish. Everyone had ordered their own main, but we received only one dish which sat for ~10 minutes before we left (no sign of the other dishes). Water jugs were caked in dirt. Cutlery was bent and dirty. The bathrooms were filthy, I mean utterly disgusting. They had a heavy smell of urine and the toilets were extremely dirty. I would not recommend dining at a restaurant with such low level of service and care for customer experience.

**Edit 2023Though the food is still great, the interior of the restaurants needs an upgrade. It doesn't look like renovations or updates have been made since the restaurant opened. The food portions are still very large. The prices have increased, which is justifiable due to inflation. Still a great spot to get spicy pad thai or general chicken.**Great food at a great price! The general chicken and beef pho are a must try! The service is good and food comes out fairly quickly. Make sure to call ahead on weekends as they have frequent party's booked.The weekday lunch specials (11:00am to 2:00pm) at $6.95 are a great value.

I went to get take out from there, I haven't been in along time. I ordered 2 of my favorite things and they were both disappointing. My sauce for my meal they didn't out the lid on right and it spilled all over the bag, so when I got home I had no sauce for my meal so had to eat dry everything of what I did it. The chicken I had was all mostly fat or skin. The spring rolls tasted weird and had a yellow tinge to them. I am usually not one to give a bad review but the only thing good was the bubble tea, I wasted 25 dollars on food that I couldn't eat.

Delicious food , friendly staff and owners，I love coming back to Asia Palace because of the food and how hospitable their people. Their food serving is bigger and better than other similar restaurants.It feels good to dine at Asia Palace . You will order more and tip more when you feel welcome and relax . Their restaurant is consistently clean as I observed for 3 years. The restaurant looks good and relaxing , semi formal set up and fast service. They always get a lot of online and in person orders.I'am always thankful for the great dining experience at Asia Palace.
