Unorganized and very poor management.

The “winter carnival” was a complete disaster. We had to line up in the freezing cold for the tandoor breads. This took more than an hour, including the time spent waiting for the naans to be cooked. To make matters worse, some of the naans were still raw inside. During the time I was there, the only “activity” for kids was two people who came from the library, sat some kids down in the park in the freezing cold and read two stories to them. It wasn’t enjoyable for the kids at all and they were let down once again. All these events labelled “carnivals” and “fairs” are anything but that. The food sold is mediocre and overpriced. It’s actually very sad that such a poor quality event is advertised as a carnival and kids get their hopes up. It’s the last time I ever attend an event organized by the women’s committee.
