Biggest and best Dollarama in Orillia! If you don’t want to use self checkout just ask for a cashier and they’ll call you one! Not everyone likes them and that’s ok!

Will not shop here again. We have three other Dollaramas that have cashier's that are willing to check you out. Having to self scan 50 items is ridiculous. The blonde girl that refused to open the cash because the big boss" was there? My favourite is when she offered to help "walk me through" the process of doing her job lol

Thanks Kathy for your help today. I had to split my order and you made it less frustrating. Helped me bag my orders etc. I even learned a thing or 2 lolPleasant attitude with me and others.These employees are only doing what they were hired to do, so be kind. If you're going to whine and complain, do it after the door closes on your way out because they don't get paid enough (as does anyone) to have to listen to you be rude to them.Local business owner

I gotta say the staff at this Dollarama are incredible! Been in there a few times and needed help at self checkout both times. Staff were called up and showed up in seconds! A big thumbs up for the staff at this store!

I really like this dollarama!It is new and well stocked. The staff is absolutely amazing. Always willing to help you.Yes there is self checkout, but that is not a problem, there is staff always willing to help with a smile and a chat.If you would like to see a well kept store, this is the one to see

My husband and I were here shopping and decided to use self checkout. I had a difficult time with Scanning my product and instead of walking away I gave the self checkout lady a chance to help me. She done a great job helping me. She was very polite and knew I didn't like using them robots. My experience with the machines are terrible and has been many times before. I will not use the the self checkout again but I'd love to see her behind the till. Thanks Kathy for a good experience!!

One of the biggest Dollaramas’ in the area. I was welcomed by a greeter—which must be a new store opening feature. This store appears considerably bigger than the Westridge area location. Lighting is very bright and pleasant. Stock is still coming through as some of the shelves have filler merchandise such as huge sections of Dollarama reusable bags. Should be fully stocked in the following months.

Great store but will not go back. Making customers self checkout when they don't want to is ridiculous. Cashier was rude and was frustrated that I did not want to use self checkout. I do not go into stores to spend my hard earned money buying your products and then do the job of a cashier while they stand there and watch me do their job and get paid for it. If I wanted to be a cashier I would apply for the job. Won't be back. I will enjoy the other Dollarama at Fitton's.

Was having a hard time checking myself out at self check out. The sales associate could see my frustration and came right over to help. With a big smile and a few instructions from her I was done and on my way. Because of her I will be back and will use self checkout with confidence. Thank you.

Shelves were nice but the one lady at the front refused to open a cash register to ring me through forcing me to use the self check out which was glitching so bad not scanning items and registering too many things in the baggage area. Forcing customers to do the employees jobs is horrendous. Terrible experience.. I hate self check out.. there should always be a till open.
