Interesting store. Interesting items for sale. Store design has recently improved. If you buy a larger item, they will help you load it into your vehicle. Prices are hit and miss.Someone there is checking the prices too well and sometimes charging more than new. Your prehung doors just inside the entrance are more expensive than new. Same problem at your Burlington store. Yes, I know you will price match but really, we shouldn't have to do that. You're overcharging in hopes that no one will notice. And if someone does notice, you don't lower the prices, you simply lower it for that particular customer. Not the best business practice. Prices are not negotiable there, even for used items. They are not willing to alter the size of an item to make a sale.No tax is charged there, which is a nice thing. And sometimes they will lower the price if it's very inexpensive to begin with. But don't ask and make the volunteer worker feel uncomfortable. If they lower an item from $5 to $3, just smile and say thanks.

Used to be one of my favourite Restores in the area, lots of neat things from all eras and reasonably priced. Now its just whatever wholesale junk they can get their hands on at auctions and then have the gall to charge near MSRP for it. Greedy! Go to the Woodstock or Grimsby one.

Great store with a good selection of quality second hand furnishings offered at lower than typical second hand prices. On this day, all the items I liked were marked as sold. I'll try again in about six weeks time at the beginning of the week.

I have found many items here. Chairs, tables, tools. You never know what you will find. Although some items are overpriced. Think of the source they come from and the quality of the product. Some things are brand new. Your money is going to charity towards building homes for people in your community. Overall this Habitat location is my favourite. Real sense of community volunteering here.

You never know what you will find. I was hoping to score a light fixture and and a ceiling fan for an upcoming reno, but struck out this time. They did have a whole pile of amazing modern very beautiful light fixtures at a super cheap $65

I had three barely used items to donate ( a desk, bookshelf and a TV stand). Called this location on October 29th and was told to send pictures of the items to Gayle (spelling)? I promptly sent the email and have yet to receive any response. With the number of newcomers arriving in Canada and/or Canadians who are in need of functioning furniture, you would think any inquiries about FREE furniture donations would be answered accordingly. Neverthless, my helpful neighbour picked up these items and donated them to Parkview Church (who were very appreciative).

Today we were at the Hamilton location. In the back of the store was clothing and the advertised sign said the clothing was on sale for $5 except outerwear. We took 3 paid pants to the cashier for purchase. When we got to our car we checked our receipt and they charged us $30 instead of $15 for the clothes. We went back inside and told the sales person and showed him the advertised sign. He said that sign was not supposed to be there. They refused to Joni the advertised sale price, refused to give us a refund, and would only give us a store credit. We went back shortly after because we wanted to speak with a manager and they took the sale sign down. We would not have bought the clothing if the sale sign was not there. This was unfair and dishonest
