Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital

Very helpful and kind with all of my pets, including pocket pets, even when I am uninformed or upset they remain professional and do their best. They also do very well at explaining their reasoning for treatment plans if you ask.

Heartland Niagara Animal Hospital took us is without hesitation on an emergency first time visit and all staff were compassionate and were extremely welcoming. We are thankful and grateful to be joining the Heartland family and allowing their staff to take care and offer medical needs to our pups when needed. They truly made this an amazing experience and guide us thru the best treatment to save our 2 year old Pug!Big thanks from our boy Moose and our family, we know that we will always have good care at the clinic.Highly recommend this clini, can't sy enough about all staff

Staff are amazing. They seem to really care about your pets. I bring my rats and cat here. They always receive great service. They are very responsive with calls and emails. I highly recommend this vet!

Everyone working at Heartland Animal Hospital is so nice and always smiling and kind. I struggle so much with social anxiety but every single person I came across in there were so welcoming and kind. They took their time to answer all my questions, no one rushed me, it was great.

Extremely disappointed with Heartland. It appears that this vet is a money-hungry business. Prices are ridiculous, especially for a simple checkup appointment, which costed us over $100. Not only that, but they have absolutely no idea what they’re doing. Made us pour over a thousand dollars into multiple appointments, tests and drugs, without even being able to identify what was wrong with our pet. We made the choice to take our pet to another vet recommended to us, and Heartland can’t even compare to our new vet. Heartland looked at our pet for weeks and couldn’t identify the problem while our new vet needed only 15 minutes to know everything that was wrong, and was able to treat our pet properly within a week. In addition, our new vet revealed that the medication that Heartland gave us was actually damaging our pet’s kidneys, and was really disappointed that they gave our pet this medication with no info on what was wrong with out pet. Heck, unlike heartland, our new vet doesn’t even charge for check up appointments, showing that he actually cares about the animals, and not the money. All this is causing us to think that Heartland is faking the tests, medication, etc, and that we were being taken advantage of.Oh, and to add on, my pet was put down here over a year ago. Beginning to think that back then, if I went to the vet we’re at now, which actually KNOWS what they’re doing, my pet could still be alive today. To sum up, for the safety of all of your pets, CHOOSE ANYWHERE BUT HEARTLAND.

We’ve become parents to three (2 cats, 1 dog) in the past 1.5 years and have taken all 3 to Heartland since the very beginning. Nothing but positive things to say about the entire team and clinic. They’ve provided insight, recommendations, and answered several of my questions over the phone and in person. We love Heartland!

Every aspect of care for my pet was provided by caring, supportive staff (for both my pet and myself). The compassionate team members never once made me feel rushed, and had time to answer all of my questions; and take time to formulate a care plan together. They always make time to give the very best care and immediate attention. Clinic and exam rooms are very clean and properly disinfected also. 'A + ' job, Team!!.

ScamDon’t be fooledWhen they first opened things were great, however the greed quickly took over and taking advantage of people became #1. If you do decide to go to heartland get a second opinion before feeling pressured to follow through with their requests. I know I would do anything for my pets and they know that as well. I understand it’s a business but not at the expense of others and their pets. Get that 2nd opinion before you make your choice, Best thing my family has ever done!!!!

First off I want to say thank you to Kelly and her staff. We took our cat (jaeger) to this clinic they found there was something wrong with his liver( sucks)After a couple months of trying to get him better we rushed him to here last night and had to make the most difficult decision of our life. The way they cared for him and let us be there in his final moments were truly amazing. They were sympathetic and very kind as gave us as much time as we needed with our baby. Also Kelly if you see this thank you again for being there for us you showed complete professionalism and compassion towards us and jaeger. Thank you again
