Great variety. Friendly atmosphere. The prices are very competitive.

Mostly friendly and helpful staff (although not always, sometimes aloof and indifferent; there's been considerable staff turnover I've noticed lately). One of the better loyalty/points programs.However, quite disappointing, compared to other small private liquor stores in Nanaimo, when it comes to ordering products they don't ordinarily carry.For example, they do have a few Church & State wines on the shelf, but not the Voignier, which is excellent. A few weeks ago I asked if they could bring it in, left my name and number, but nothing! No response at all!Same thing happened about two months ago when I asked about a Carribean rum that I liked. Even though I'm a regular customer, I guess they're too busy to offer the courtesy of a reply.In contrast, another small liquor store a few blocks away responded to my queries right away and then ordered the Voignier I was after. The rum, they regretfully informed me isn't available in BC. But at least I received a response, which is more than I got from Wellington.About the selection, I'm not sure that I agree with some of the other reviewers here. Those crowing about the great selection" at Wellington should maybe go have a look at Greenrock

Good prices and good selection. Helpful staff. Plus discounts on selected days and quantity purchases.

A nice neighborhood liquor store with friendly customer service. They have 5% discount program on Tuesdays for seniors. They also have membership lottery program for special benefits for customers. Price on products are very competitive. Easy access with decent parking space. There is a Marijuana store across the street for those who use both products. Please use these both responsibly keeping your self well-being as first priority.
