** STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!! **I recently just moved to Pickering & I own a 2009 BMW 335i that has had a vibration issue. I needed a diagnosis for the vibration, my brakes also needed to be changed urgently as one of the rotors was scraping with the pad metal on metal (My parts were on the way in the mail from RockAuto). I suspected that the caliper was sticking scraping rotor causing a vibration, I asked Marshall to test the caliper & said that it is fine. He then visually inspected the suspension, & came to a conclusion that my car had no issues or play in any of the suspension that would be the cause of any vibration & that he would have to further diagnose my cars wheel balance before doing anything else (I mentioned to him that I balanced my wheels 3+ times now). Lastly I asked him to check my belts to see if the pulleys were fine (I know a bad pulley could cause a vibration too), to which he glanced at for about 10 secs & said Nope

Took my e90 to Marshall for suspension and brakes. Really easy going guy who knows his stuff, had my car back to me in a day! The race cars he has floating around aren't bad eye candy either.Would recommend

I've been taking my cars to Marshall for years, long before he had his own shop. I've always known him to be an extremely honest, fair and straightforward mechanic, not to mention a genuinely nice guy. I was thrilled to hear he opened his own shop last year and I am more than happy to go out of my way to make sure he's the one looking at my car because I can be sure he'll tell me exactly what needs immediate attention and what can wait. Marshall doesn't try to inflate his invoices with unnecessary work to squeeze more money out of you, he simply does the work that you want done and does it very well. I always recommend him to anyone looking for some work on their vehicles.

Heard about the shop by word of mouth and have been going going there for about a year. Marshall has worked on all my cars and have never had an issue, be it my Mazda or my BMW. Does what is needed and recommends things that may need to be done in the near future. I am a satisfied customer that has referred family and friends to the shop

I don't defer to too many guys in the GTA, as I'm very capable myself and heavily involved in the trade. Look, there's good techs... and then there's the crazy genius types. Marshall is the latter, I bring him cars that other shops won't touch and problems myself or no one else can figure out. This guy is the best kept secret in the GTA. Besides his knowledge and professionalism, he's also a super chill guy that I enjoy talking cars with.

I was referred to Marshall after multiple shops, for a weird issue with my diesel X5 35d. He found the issue and was reasonable with the solution. I have trust issues with mechanics but he is an honest guy.Layla is also great and available when Marshall is busy.Fingers crossed I don’t need his service again but I would recommend 100%

I have a 2008 135i thatch track frequently. Although I'm a diy for small stuff Marshall is the guy I go to for tech inspections and the more serious stuff. Great knowledge of the cars, great knowledge of tracking and special requirements and fair and honest pricing. Really there's no where else to take your car bimmer or other brand. So much that I referred my parents and all my friends there!

Marshall is a very talented, fair, and honest mechanic. You'll notice that many of the positive reviews for Bavarian Motorsport were written by customers who take their BMWs (and other brands) to the racetrack; there is no greater endorsement of a mechanic.I personally bring my cars to Marshall for pre-track day tech inspections because I know I can trust him to capture/diagnose any issues and fix them properly. Mechanical failure at Mosport (Canadian Tire Motorsport Park) can literally cost you your life - to that end, I trust Marshall with my life, and I can't say that of many mechanics. Marshall's own racing experience and sports car / track car / race car tuning and modification speaks to the precision with which he works. Even if you don't use your car for track days, having a top-shelf mechanic maintain your vehicle should give you and your family some peace of mind.I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Marshall has gone out of his way / bent over backwards to help sort my car out at the racetrack, sometimes with very limited time, and challenges getting parts - he's always come through for me. I highly recommend him if your sports car (or any vehicle) is in need of repair or performance modifications.Final point - his pricing is very fair and I appreciate that I often pay less than anticipated.
