Alder Automotive

This place is relief after experiencing many shady auto garages in this city. I bought a Ford Fusion off ‘need a car’ ( don’t ever go to this dealership) and I contacted Alder Automotive when I realized I had been ripped off. Jim actually told me to contact Ford first to check if the part was recalled before I spent money. His honesty was refreshing. When I brought my car in he checked the vehicle thoroughly first before doing any work as he didn’t want me to drop money on a car that wasn’t worth it. The reason this place dosent have a single bad review is because they are honest, respectful and fast. I recommend this place to women or anyone who needs a mechanic they can trust. Keep up the good work. Jim even told me himself “honesty is the only way to run a business these days” couldn’t have said it better myself. :)

Our vehicle almost set on fire, some parts came off on the highway and we had to get towed here. Luckily Jim was still in after we gave him a call about the situation. He gave us hotel suggestions so we were close by and everything.Turns out it was completely dead, our vehicle, I mean.He called someone to scrap it and everything, didn't charge us since we aren't from Ontario and needed the money so we could have somewhere to sleep and money to get home.I genuinely don't know what we would have done if it weren't for Alder Automotive, a literal god send.If I were to get stranded in Ontario again, I'd want to do it where I know I'd have these guys taking care of us.

We were from our of town and only visiting Sudbury for one day and ran into car trouble. We needed help immediately. Even though they were full with appointments, they made the time to assess our car and gave us great, honest feedback. You hear people talk about an honest mechanic. This is your guy. And the prices are great too.

Never liked going into a auto shop, but Jim was awesome, straightforward and overly fair priced. He didn't even call us idiots.

We were visiting Sudbury from out of town when the main brake line started leaking. Jim squeezed us in when we weren't able to get help from the dealership or several other mechanics which were understaffed and not able to work on our vehicle for minimum three weeks. We have highly recommended Alder Automotive to family in Sudbury.
