Anacrusis Music

This place is one of the most inclusive places I've ever been to. The instructors are kind and this business deserves 6 stars if I could give them that. They offer fun and engaging classes and it's a great extra curricular activity! Also there's doggies sometimes.

I went here for about 6 years before I moved away from Calgary, and it is one of the things I miss the most. My first introduction to music, through drum lessons, started my love for music that has continued to this day. Not only are all the teachers amazing at what they do with their styles of teaching, but they are supportive, uplifting, and understanding of their students. While I was creating a solid musical background, I was having fun and encouraged to do what I wanted to do. I was in several bands during my lessons, and I branched out to vocals and ukulele as an addition to my musical knowledge. It is 100% thanks to Anacrusis Music and the people there that I am a confident musician.During my younger years, this place was a pillar of support and a safe space for me regardless of what I was going through. I miss it so much and I hope it continues to exist for all the future musicians that attend!

This is my safe space, I absolutely love having music classes here. It's such an inclusive place, with accomodations for everyone. 11 stars if I could <3

it's a super lovely place! their groups are a ton of fun, and the staff are very friendly. I really reccomend this if you wanna send your kiddos to a kind, open, fun and educational learning area!
