This review is long overdue. AstroLab Studios is an amazing place to film. They are constantly updating and improving the studio. It amazes me at how in touch the the team behind AstroLab is in touch with the needs of both the 'Commercial' and 'Film' oriented clients. AstroLab Studios keeps the space vibe throughout the space and holding areas will keep your client's in comfort and awe of the 'Commercial' making experience. For Filmmakers, AstroLab provides a solid grip/electric selection at reasonable rates, plus the convenience of having several industry rental spaces in close proximity. For the crew, the extra areas outside the studio can give much needed room for the extra bodies whom aren't always necessary on set while filming. Lastly, Adam and Jeff are amazing. They are quick to answer questions, and are very open/accessible when you need them. They have a great small recording booth for ADR and some music recording. Their colouring facility is also great so ask them about it. I will continue to use AstroLab Studios for the foreseeable future for both 'Commercial' and 'Film' projects. I would highly recommend AstroLab Studios over other similar facilities in Toronto.

Working with Adam and the team at AstroLab is an absolute pleasure. They are helpful throughout the process, from booking the space until the last crew member is out for the day. Everything we need is handled and is done professionally and with care. When I walk in the doors of AstroLab Studios, it’s like walking into a friend’s house. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and understanding. If there’s ever anything we needed there is always a staff member ready to help out. We required a last minute paint job done for the floor and it was confirmed and organized almost immediately. The space is functional and the packages they have including all the gear are super helpful especially for smaller productions because it saves us going to a bunch of rental houses. I met Adam a few years ago before he opened up shop at AstroLab. One day I needed a reader for what I planned to be a DIY self tape at home and he invited me by the studio and I gotta say, this is a great space. Facilities are spacious, well-equipped and easily accessible by TTC or car. Adam himself is very easy to work with and extremely professional. We finished up my tape in a few takes, and he had it all finished, edited, and drop boxed to me the same day. Looking forward to the next time we work together!

AstroLab is one of the BEST studios in Toronto/GTA area with everything we needed for our music video, second time shooting there. I highly recommend it to all filmmakers out there. I can`t thank enough Adam and Jeff for the wonderful service and their excellent support they provided during our shoot. Can`t wait to shoot there again.

An absolutely amazing time! Adam & Jeff were extraordinarily accommodating and the venue itself is a beautiful space. The crew and cast loved all the extra amenities! As a low-no budget short film producer- I could not have hoped for a kinder experience. I'd recommend AstroLabs to every filmmaker I know given the chance.

Astrolab is our go to studio. The staff is friendly, professional and accommodating, the facility is always clean, and their wide range of quality equipment is well organized, easily accessible and affordable. We LOVE knowing everything we need for production is available on site when we book.

I absolutely love how AstroLab has everything you need for shoots - not just equipment but professional space and knowledgable (and helpful) staff. Their cyc is massive and its easy to rig up almost anything with their high ceilings and gear.Highly recommended for pro/commercial photo + small film shoots!

We've shot multiple projects with Astrolabs and every time it's been brilliant. The lads there are always supportive and easy to work with. Very professional, nice atmosphere and can advice on any production matters. Would recommend.
