The area alone is worth the visit. Rivers and bridges. Quite scenic. Heritage Park was the cherry on top.

Second time! BUT someone had to get serious about this treasure. No new books in shop, same old interpretations, non involved staffWe went during the powwow hoping the museum would be part. Not so! What a missed opportunity. I am not an indigenous person but am making a point that my family understands indigenous culture and claims better. Your have such potential to make a difference.

Very good First Nation center. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good presentation with lots of stories and some artifacts.Very interesting experience of sleeping in teepee. They provided mosquitoes nets above the beds, wood for the camp fire etc etc

What a special experience!!! We stayed in a tipi (my grand mother, her friend, my 2 children and I) the staff was amazing, and it was by far one of the coolest experiences my kids have had! Doing it again next summer!

Just wow. From the moment we arrived, the service was unbelievable. A super warm welcome, with many people around to helpThe grounds are impeccable, quiet, serene and the amenities (shower/bathroom and even porta potties) are beyond reproach. We stayed in a tipi - which was super comfortable and contained everything we needed for our stay.We had one meal at on-site restaurant (Mel’s). The menu was not your typical camping menu / and the food was really, really tasty and super inexpensive. Definitely recommend saving one meal for this place.Highly suggest taking the guided tour. In additional to hearing some wonderful (and personal) history from our guide Liam, we watched a movie in a beautiful cinema and learned how to make bannock (traditional bread) in the sand. We ate delicious meat and drank refreshing tea. Actually, I can’t imagine coming here, enjoying the beautiful land - and not taking a few hours to listen and learn. Take the tour, you won’t regret it.Overall, my kids and I rated this part of our summer road trip a 5/5 in all areas.Nicholas, Liam , Tristan to name a few - you guys are wonderful. ❤️

This site is incredible!!We did the experience package, which is perfectly affordable per person. We had a local guide (Liam!) tell us incredible stories about his people and their history. We learned so much and it helped us change our preconceived notions. The cooking portion of the experience is absolutely delightful and we LOVED our experience here! The museum is well done and lightly informative too!Highly recommend biking the experience over just the museum on its own!
