We've been with EthicalHost since 2014 and are still continually impressed by the service we receive. The communication is one thing: we receive updates and info that matters. The other thing is the responses - prior to EthicalHost we were all but forgotten by our hosting service. Getting customer service was slow and unfriendly. We have never had this problem with Ethical Host. We typically only need a question or two a year but it's so nice to know that we don't have to worry when we do need something. I highly recommend.

When I was looking for website hosting some seven years ago, I had decided that I wanted to patronize a Canadian company, and after doing a fair bit of research and reading a number of reviews, narrowed my choices to include Ethical Hosting. The fact that the company is ‘green’ easily finalized my decision. Over the years, there have been several occasions on which I required assistance, and my issues always seemed to arise during evenings or on weekends. But despite Ethical’s website indicating standard open hours of 9-5, Mon.-Fri., I never had to wait more than 30 minutes for a response and an accompanying solution. This level of commitment to service is truly exceptional. John, it’s a reassuring pleasure knowing that you’re ‘there’.

I'm writing this, not even as a current customer of Ethical Hosting, butsimply to recommend them. Our organization needed a website and I signed up online with Ethical Hosts since they are Canadian. John was instantly ready to help at all hours of the day and night - I really tested him with my requests and her never let me down. I knew I had found a great person to deal with when he sent me an email after I upgraded my plan online. He mentioned that, for the services our organization needed, we did not need the extra charge of the plan I had selected and he recommended refunding my money. That was his idea, not mine.I appreciated that he would answer even the smallest question right awayand I found him helpful and very responsive - a critical quality whenyou are dealing with customers/clients who want access to your site'right now'. Ultimately, our project fell through due to problems on ourside. He immediately refunded the payment exactly as promised.
