Disappointed because the price is fair and talent is great. But I really don't appreciate when phone calls aren't returned. Makes me feel like my business isn't valued. I called over a week ago and didn't get a call back. Left my name and number and said I was looking for a cut and style.This isn't the first time where they haven't returned my calls. I've had to call back in the past to follow up just because I didn't have anywhere else to go but I shouldn't have to chase them down.

I really wanted to give La Marca a great chance and unfortunately after my final hair appointment I'm not very happy and it's been an emotional few days.I came into the salon with 2 year hair growth from bald that I took absolutely amazing care of. I did dye it box brown and told them that and I was fully aware that Rome wasn't built in a day and showed a new stylist different styles based on shades my hair would start in (orange, yellows etc)They pushed my hair to its limit without even telling me using the strongest developer and full cooking time and gave me a full head of highlights and not what I asked for (other stylists openly made fun of on my third appointment) and acted proud that they got me to a lighter blonde than I had shown. (I was expecting at least 4-5 appointments before even being considered a blonde)I came back 1-2 weeks after to have my roots touched up as the new stylist (who is no longer there) basically gave me highlights to my roots and had this heavy banding around my head.Here's is where I absolutely hate giving a low review, when I came in 6 weeks later I was paired with an absolutely amazing stylist who was super fun to chat with and I know with full confidence had I been set up with her first or anyone of the more experienced stylist there my hair wouldn't be as brittle and destroyed as it is today. After my last appointment I have hair snapping off at my scalp, breaking off at the ends and I really hope that in several weeks of treating it I might be able to wear it down.It cost me 440$ to have my hair completely unmanageable.I still say give this place a chance but make sure you express what you want when you get there, check out their social media so you pick the right stylist for you.

Finally found the best salon place for myself and my husband ! For Men Harley is superb Awesome and does fabulous work. Harley did the haircut for my husband He is just amazing. And for Women simone,She is very friendly and sweet. She takes immense care on ur hair and make sure what you like and she brings out the same u wanted. She is the best hair stylist I can ever have and she recommends what hair products we can get. I loved the haircut she did for me. Thank u simone. I will come here again. I totally recommend this place for the new comers !! Also we can get good quality shampoos for reasonable price and returns acceptable in case we didn't like it.

I went here to get a haircut and Baylage color. Overall I'm really happy with the results. I had to go back to fix areas where I wasn't happy with my color treatment but they were happy to have me back in to fix what I wasn't completely satisfied with. My color is still not perfect but it's better than what it was. Very good customer service. Kaleigh was very kind. I will likely try their services again.

It’s been 2 months since I’ve had my hair cut by Richard at La Marca and I had an event to go to the next day and I’m still angry with the way my hair was cut. It’ all uneven choppy and too short. I said I wanted to still be able to clip my hair up.. Well I can’t it’s too short ..I showed a picture of want I wanted and it looked nothing like it not even close..I couldn’t even go and have it fixed it would have made it so much shorter. The back of my hair for whatever reason was cut in short uneven pieces.. I even came in to make my appointment and showed the receptionist the picture and specifically asked for a hair stylist that was able to give me what I wanted. I will never go back. Donna in Oshawa

Extremely poor service. I really want customers to read this, because Gino and his workers don't care even they burn customers hair. I had asked them for balayage service and they assigned Stephanie Wright for it. Where do I start ? She is so rude, doesn't know how to treat a customer and had put whole lot of bleach into my hair.. Literally fried them !!!!! First picture is how my hair were, second picture is how they fried it i couldn't even brush them without them breaking. I even paid for the treatment which i must say was useless as I can do better conditioner at home. I went in to show what happened and instead of rectifying their mistake, Gino started teaching me about education". I am sorry this is not what professionals would do to you hair. And they said they can not colour correct it. I sat there cried

I went to Lori at this salon with very specific requests, and she did exactly what I asked. She listened to me and asked me how I liked things as she was cutting. A very welcome experience.I am happy to say I have found myself a stylist!
