I took the kids in because although I'm driving by all the time, I had never seen it open before. They actually have some cool stuff. It was open for Military Day and they had a live reenactment out back. I do not regret stopping in, and the kids seemed to enjoy it. It's free (probably why it's never open. Understandable)

Took my Grand kids here. Unfortunately the museum part was closed . Didn't matter , they loved touching the Military vehicles display. Absolutely great local testament to Canada's proud military. Thank You.

I was super pumped to take my son here based on all the reviews. Walked it and the interaction was strange to say the least. Guy at the counter said “you have to pay”, obviously I had to. No hi, hello, how are you. He then told me we couldn’t just walk around, we HAD to have a guided tour.My son is a history fanatic, pretty sure he could have done the tour better. The kid guiding us was spilling his juice all over his pants and had awkward silences. Sounded like a robot. It was actually painful to listen to.The trench was cool and the artifacts were neat. It just sucks that we couldn’t go at our pace and read what we wanted.Honestly, if you want to support local businesses and keep history alive go here. If not, stay home and save your money.

A great museum that showcases local and Canadian history. Smaller in size, but packed with a great indoor and outdoor display.

Wonderful place which is far beyond of what it may look from outside. A real gentleman and president of the museum, toured me through all items and gave amazing stories of each item. I highly suggest you to go and see.

My family and I went here on fathers day and unfortunately they were closed so we couldn't go inside to look around. I really enjoyed looking at the trucks and everything they had outside, they had an event that took place the day before we went so I think they were closed so they could clean up. All in all we are going to try again another weekend to go back to see insideThank you so much for the reply my family and I will be happy to come back to enjoy the historic items and educate my son on a few things

We thoroughly enjoyed the reenactment as well as getting to talk with some of the people on site. We visited inside the WWI trench as well. Our 4 children enjoyed it all as well. Everything from aircraft to vehicles, tents, typewriters, uniforms. So much good info.
