Super clean friendly establishment. Would recommend. Stayed 3 nights. Friendly staff, eager to help. Extremely clean.

Clean room, 2 large bed, large bathroom, everything in good conditions. Available for a disabled person (No step or another thing what is problem for a handicapped man ). For 190 bucks absolutely the best in this area. Highly recommended.

Beware!I made a booking here two weeks ago on a trip, as my wife and I wanted to have a bit of a break from staying in an RV. This looked like a nice, little place, which would be close to the St Lawrence and be a bigger space than what we were staying in.Unfortunately, the morning of a ferry trip from Matane to Baie Comeau encountered an issue on the ferry and was not able to cross. I contacted Motel Cofotel right away and shared the details that our 2-night stay wouldn't be possible, as we have no way to get there anymore. Their cancellation policy of 48 hours (or more) which is generally fair was the only response and that they would be charging me the full amount for the stay, despite the fact that it was not my fault for the trip not happening. I've since emailed twice (no response), I called again and spoke (with my bad French) to another person at the hotel who suggested I cancel the reservation and maybe I could get money back somehow (I did not).I think it would be fair that I pay some penalty (e.g. 1 night) since I was a no show, but am very, very surprised that they would not try to be at least somewhat flexible in that type of situation.

Good motel. Very clean. If breakfast included Will get 5 stars. Recommend it.

Very bad ..I call for reservation .the morning. From Halifax ..but called back before 9 Pm to canceled because no ferry to cross river .they took the money ..wow ..wow the lady that answered the phone that day ..seposely not working their no more ..lol ..what what ..
