Awesome place for the summer. A Winnipeg staple that visitors not locals should miss during the season. I’ve gone through all their specialty stuff and enjoyed them all. Personally, I enjoy the simple cone.But get wild! Try a flavour that you haven’t tried. Visitors, get the Goog!

A go-to place for ice cream treats in Winnipeg. We went on a cold and windy Spring evening and there was still a long lineup. There were three employees working a good system and it did not take too long to be served. The menu of frozen treats is extensive from a simple straight-up soft-serve cone through to large specialty treats. I ordered a banana split that was huge, with fresh ingredients -the bananas, strawberry and pineapple, and a smooth chocolate sauce. Covered with a load of whipped cream, it was delicious. A number of items on the menu have the option of being vegan friendly. A great location for an ice cream treat.

We always enjoy BDI while visiting Winnipeg. Though, traffic, construction, and small parking lot makes me not want to come and enjoy this delicious ice cream! Four star this time, but your always my favorite, ssshhhh
