Such a wonderful experience. Everyone is so great to work with, they are all smiling and so kind. Eddie did my eye exam before and after surgery and he was so fun, made me laugh and definitely made me feel more relaxed about it all! The woman (i forget her name, im so sorry) who helped me through the payment process was so nice as well, i told her i needed to pump before surgery as i was away from my baby and she set me up in one of the empty offices, she made me feel so comfortable and did everything possible to make my experience the best. The surgical team was amazing as well, all their personalities were so fun, they made jokes with you and made you feel so comfortable before and during surgery. The surgeon was also so great, he explained everything id experience during surgery and checked on me to make sure i was doing well. The whole atmosphere there is so welcoming and they all make you feel right at home. I would highly recommend Lasik MD.Thank you all for making this experience one i will never forget.

Had a great experience! Everyone was very professional and made sure I felt comfortable. Getting laser eye surgery is anxiety provoking but the crew definitely made me feel at ease. I recommend this place 100%

I’ve been very happy with my whole experience! I am now one year post surgery and loving no longer worrying about contacts & glasses. The only negative thing was that I could not go on a payment plan and still get my work based or insurance based discounts. I had to pay in full to get the percentage off of the fees. That policy should be changed.

My experience as a surgical patient at Lasik MD was exceptional. I am 3 days post-op and I'm already beyond impressed with my vision. The day of the procedure the staff were amazing in making sure that I was comfortable and all were very knowledgeable. Dr. Rocha made me feel comfortable in my decision to have surgery by explaining what was going on during the procedure. The clinic was a clean, calm environment and as a staff member it made me proud to see how well patients are treated at every step of the process!

Never was there ever a sense of nerves during the entire process. The staff were undoubtedly friendly, knowledgeable and reliable. Aside from the all star customer service my procedure went extremely well! As of today I’ve confirmed that I have 20/15 vision and my eyes are better than perfect 20/20. I am forever grateful for this experience and for the staff at LASIK MD thank you!

I travelled to the Winnipeg clinic and I Can’t say enough good things about this place. Every single person I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Surgery was a breeze and now just over 24 hours later I can see perfectly without glasses for the first time in many years. I wish I would’ve did this years ago.

I have worn glasses for over 20 years, and contacts for around 10. As anyone with glasses knows, it can be an inconvenience for many reasons. They interfere with work, athletic activities, and more. Not to mention the price of replacing broken or damaged ones.After several family members had LASIK with good results, I decided it was time to check it out. I had a virtual consult first, because it saved me the time and money from travelling downtown. After a followup in house appointment to test my eyes, I booked the surgery.Surgery day was long, just over 5 hours, but was an easy experience where I felt comfortable through all my interactions with the staff. Everything was explained clearly with care.The surgery itself was over quickly, and I did not experience any pain. There is some pressure on your eyes, but never discomfort. For the first 3-4 hours after surgery my eyes were dry feeling and uncomfortable, similar to when campfire smoke blows in your face. However, by the late afternoon it was gone and my vision was 90% improved.The following morning was significant for quality of sight and dryness. I now have better than 20/20 vision and would recommend this to anyone considering.

Overall a great experience and would recommend for anyone looking to rid themselves of their glasses, the whole process from the consultation to the paper work to the final procedure was very well organized and painless process. The experience at LASIK MD is amazing, beyond my expectation. The technicians are very professional and they all have personal touch. One lady, Kim is in the surgery room with me. Realised I was nervous, she tried to calm me down with small conversation, a friend to friend talk. It lifted my spirit. The surgeon is a down to earth type, and he really knows his job. Fantastic!

Getting the surgery itself was AWESOME and the Lasik MD team was fantastic. However, going for check-up appointments every 2 years to maintain my access to a free touch-up surgery, if necessary, feels like they are rushing you through a generic assembly line that's not necessarily designed to recognize if you DO need a touch-up. The location downtown is also extremely inconvenient for anyone working or living outside of Winnipeg: an absolute headache to get to and find parking for a 3 minute appointment. They are great to deal with on the phone if you need to reschedule or book an appointment, though, and helpful email reminder ahead of my appointment.
