Outstanding. Grabbed a 3 pack of plain tarts and I'm wishing I grabbed more! Absolutely delicious. I also really love the concept of this little tart shop. Will definitely return next time I'm in the county.

As a long time lover and corg-noisseur of butter tarts, I’m always on the search for the ultimutt tart. So I just had to U-turn the car around when I spotted this tart stand. It’s a little self-serve hut. The tarts were all refrigerated and packed into cute little pink boxes of 3, with different varieties clearly labelled. You can leave cash or send an e-transfer. Tarts were pawtastic, pretty large size, buttery and crumbly crust, with sweet gooey filling inside. Paw-licking good!5 woofs out of 5.

One of the best tasting tarts I ever had. Crust is so flaky and the filling is so delicious! All of the tarts were stored in a small shed near the owner's house. Payment is through honor system. No one is in the shed so you have to put your money in a small container or you can pay them via etransfer. They do have security cameras installed.

Go here. Don't debate it, just go. Bring cash. For sure try the butter and lemon tarts (hands down best ever). The little house is set in the middle of an orchard, there's a picnic table where you can eat your pies if you like. You leave the cash in a box in the fridge. We spoke a little with the owner, he's the nicest person, with a vision of a better world. 100% worth your time and/ or little detour.

We may just have found the best butter tarts ever! My aunt has long made the most amazing butter tarts that keep me yearning for family get togethers to get my tart fix. Until visiting Waupoos Tarts I had yet to find a better butter tart than my aunts. Sorry aunty you finally met your match. These are the best butter tarts ever! Insert mic drop here.

Does this place even need an explanation? Plain, pecan, nuts & raisin, or the newly added lemon tart. Something for everyone. Honor system cash payment or e-transfer convenient self-serve system in place. Scenic setting with picnic tables to enjoy your treats on site if you wish. Thanks Joel, you've done a lovely job with your indoor/outdoor space.

Spotted this butter tart sign on the way to our hostel! Loved the pecan tart - it was so buttery and the pecans went so well with the filling!! It’s a self checkout hut so either have cash or etransfer. Definitely worth the visit!
