For more than a decade Tangerine has been keeping up it's taste in Haka Cuisine.Amongst all the GTA restaurants Tangerine I feel is one of the best in Haka style Chinese food. Their portions are generous and the quality is great. The staff are very friendly and hospitable

Food was great! I would say it is the best Chinese restaurant in Durham area. Though I am not a fan of Indian food but it was not too much oriental to eat. I took out cilantro and maybe I could ask to the kitchen for excluding cilantro. I visited a few times before COVID but it was pretty hard to call servers, seemed they didn’t care once they got the orders and served the food. Recommend to ask everything in one time when you place the order. Once they leave then it is more harder to call them. But still I will visit again for sure because they make delicious food.

Ordered food 40 minutes before picking it up. Got there and my order was not found. The gentleman I talked to hung up on me and was extremely rude, like they were so busy he had no time to talk. When I got there the restaurant was empty. When I asked for the menu again he handed me the same one I ordered from. My biggest problem is the menu said for the dinner for 4 said $55.00. The actual price is $75.00 + tax. When I asked why the difference in price I was told that’s the old price and the menu they handed me was just for the food menu, what!? So instead of pay $55 + tax I paid $75 + tax and the cost of a beer while I waited. I’ve travelled the world and I have to admit this is the first time I have ever experienced this. But like I always say, you can get me once! I will never be back. Rude, dishonest and still charged me for waiting.

Just got home after picking up an order and to my surprise (and not in a good way) I find feathers still attached to my chicken wings. Called up the restaurant, and was told if I bring them back and if there are actually feathers, I’ll get a free replacement. Restaurant is now closed. I told her it’s a bit late, can’t make it back tonight, and ask if there’s anything else they can do. Here’s where it gets funny. She said no there’s nothing they can do. I’m told that it’s the suppliers fault for not cleaning the chicken and that they don’t have the time to go over and check the pieces or clean them and that it’s normal to have just a few feathers on a piece of chicken. And that because I’m a regular customer, that I should know this and understand it. I asked “so what you’re saying that it’s normal for your restaurant to not check your meat, not clean it, that it’s normal for there to be feathers, and there’s nothing you can do about that?” She said “yes that is correct. Sorry”. I’m giving them two stars because I do enjoy their food. But sorry even that is generous if you’re not going to check the condition and cleanliness of your poultry before serving customers. That’s disturbing.Been going to this place for years. Gladly there are numerous better halal Hakka joints in the area now.

The food was okay. The chicken lollipops were more just chicken wings, noodles were good and the beef was okay. Definitely some better choices out there but good for a quick mealWashroom was dirty and had a mop over the sink, how are people supposed to wash their hands

Love the food, always fast and on time. Portion size is still decent at a time when other places are cutting back. Have re-ordered on numerous occasions and will continue to do so.

The sweet corn chicken soup gave me food poisoning!!!! And I'm a mother who is breast feeding, I can't take any meds, I've been vomiting and suffering all day! I'm so disappointed with the quality of your food.

Service definitely need some improvement.We tried Hot and Sour Soup, Seafood Fried Rice, Noodles and Chilli Chicken.My recommendation would be Fried Rice. Other food were average quality.
