P.N. Nails Lacewood

This does not deserve any stars but I had to give one to give a review. Let me save you the horrible experience and pedicure I just endured. I waited with my feet in cold water for someone to show up to do my pedicure while the only worker in there was doing a manicure. When she showed up she poked around in back for 10 minutes before getting to me. Meanwhile there was another woman placed next to me waiting for a pedicure too. She spent 10 minutes on my feet and that basically included drying them off filing my nails quickly and painting the nails. It was brutal. Don’t put yourself through this. Go literally anywhere else. I’ve been to many of the places in halifax and they all beat this place hands down. The woman next to me showed up right after I did and was told it would be 10 minutes. She would have to wait until I was finished. Also they had no idea how to use the massage chair so the poor woman was sat tilted forward the entire time. Just insane, they won’t be in business for long. I wouldn’t go back if they offered me every service on the menu for free.

She cut my toe on one foot and wouldn't even look at the other toe. Disappointing. Quickest most ineffective pedicure ever. Won't be returning, for sure.

I would score this place a zero.I went in and was the only person in the store with two employees. It started great with a nice massage and the pedicure being started, but it went to hell so quickly!They didn’t listen to anything I said about what I wanted and cut my nails into squared which I said I didn’t want. So they cut them very low to try and fix the mistake.I asked for a mani pedi and for air brushing. They weren’t even able to do my nails properly and the equipment was filthy! After the gentleman did my nails in a rush as he leaned against a wall( not even at a table) They picked up a dirty air drier off the floor that was covered with dirt and a sticky substance and they expected me to put my hands in it! I was afraid to touch it and so held my hands in it holding them off the table so they wouldn’t touch anything.As I sat I noticed that the sides of my nails weren’t even painted and pointed it out to one of the employees whose way of fixing it was to wipe off my hands. Not addressing the problem at all. After being left for some time I was checked and told I was okay to go so I got my shoes on, already upset with my poorly cut nails and bad painting job.I got my shoes on and walked towards the door. I asked about the nail art and was told they forgot I wanted it. I looked down to notice that three nails already had half of the nail polish off and my nails had sharp lumps on them. I showed them and asked to just be able to go. They asked to let it be fixed. I told them I was so unhappy that Inwould be equally happy to have all the nail polish removed so I could just go home and end the bad experience.They wouldn’t let me go and so I sat down to let them fix it. They blamed my shoes for the nail polish coming off my toes and had no explanation for the polish coming off my finger nails.So they did myToes again and didn’t bother with a top coat and they finally did a small picture on my thumb nails( they used acrylic paint!)The art was sloppy and lumpy and didn’t match. And I was told to leave barefoot or to wear these dirty preform slippers to go home in.I was so upset. I won’t ever go back again.

Had wonderful pampering by Jodi. An excellent mani/pedi. She took the time to do a very professional job. She has a great personality and makes you feel special. Thank you so much Jodi and PN Nails.

I've had two pedis with Jody . Both times were exceptional exoeriences . She spent an hour filing and clipping before she even started polishing .

12 yr old niece went to get her nails done with a friend and left with nails that were not put on properly. Returned today to have the issues addressed (6 of 10 nails were out of place or appeared wonky). My Mom was present and tried to have the problems fixed but was met with rudeness and refusal to address the issue. A partial refund was all that was possible after my mother insisted (not even close to what was paid to have the nails done) and the owner insisted on cutting the nails off in order to give the minuscule refund. I phoned him and he was absolutely inappropriate and unwilling to be even remotely rational about the problem. Wasted $50+ of a 12 year olds money to get nothing but the photos below and name-calling, rudeness and total lack of customer concern. This guy should not be dealing with the public or offering services if he won’t handle customer complaints appropriately. Only go here if you enjoy arguments and nails that look awful.

The absolute worst experience. I had the bio gel nails done. The man must have taken his course and then threw everything he learned away right after. I told him i wanted to keep the length of my natural nails, once he had the gel on he went under the gel and filed my natural nails off. He used the exact same file and all tools he has just finished using on another lady. This place is disgusting please save yourself the money and find a real salon with people who will not go against your requests. They need to be shut down.
