I reported an accident in December 2022. In a few days it will be 3 months and my vehicle has not been fixed and even the liability has not been determined. My vehicle was moved from a tow yard to a total loss yard without my knowledge and without my consent. I didn’t know until weeks after I called and asked for an update on my claim. The company keeps delaying the claim and the agents never live up to what they tell you. They will tell you that they will follow up with you but for weeks they would disappear. My claim was transferred from one person to another to another and they have all delayed my claim so much and they don’t even take the responsibility of causing the delay and own up to the distress they cause you. The agents give zero information to you and zero advise about how you should act or what you should do or what will happen to your claim. 5 different agents will tell you 5 different things regarding the same issue and you are left in the dark. If I knew allstate is such a terrible insurance company I would never have taken their policy. nobody answers you or gives you any information which is your right to know since it’s your vehicle. The agents give you excuse that they are short staff and that so many agents are away due to Covid. I am stressed enough to know that. The agents have zero training in customer service.UPDATE as of April 2: NO RESPONSE AT ALL. There is no point writing a review because they are so used to seeing the same issues reported through these reviews, that they do not care at all. I thought Google review is very impactful, unfortunately, not with this company.

I’m so dissatisfied about the services of Allstate Auto Insurance, the company management is misleading to resolve customer complaints!I have requested to park one of my vehicles., but as per my agent (Arritha De Livera) requested it to send via email. But my request for my parking on my vehicle was not considered at all!!! But my auto payments were taken from account. When I ask my agent about it., all he said was it will get debited to ur account next month..I waited till the next month the same amount was deducted from my account. Even when I contacted him all he said was ‘don’t worry it will be debated’!!!Finally I decided to cancel all my policies with Allstate coz of the bad services Ive experienced.There is a due of over$400 for me with Allstate for parking for two months, Allstate send me a document mentioning that I owe $79.70 coz of early cancellation.I do understand when a policy is cancelled mid term there is a penalty, “when the company staff makes silly mistakes on their work & is the customer liability to pay for”???I have spoken to the escalation department (Caraline Barn) for a justice on my matter & requesting for a email to write to the relevant department and copy for me with a solution., up to now I haven’t received any emails from her., “this is why I said the management is misleading”!!but instead she has sent my wife’s details to a collection agency for the $79.70 which “I “owe to Allstate. Even the agent has not done his duty to the correct primary contract details on the documents which my wife is not involved with the auto insurance! I’m trying to contact Caraline barn now she’s not in that extension to reach..,Its so scary when these things happen in Canada for the new immigrants!!Guys..Think twice before you start.,Be aware!!!

I bought a new vehicle last year, needed to updated insurance information , I called my agent, asked her if she can help me to do it. When I told her about this, she complained me I didn’t tell her earlier, she asked me some numbers which I don’t know where to find it (it was my first time to do this) ,she said I am not her only customer, she doesn’t have time with me, and hanged up the phone right away. So I had no choice, and told my dealer about this. Even my dealer couldn’t believe this. We contacted customer service from head office to do the insurance change. After we finished all the paper, I got my new insurance number. The agent called me asked I still need her help or not. Before I picked up my vehicle, I called her one more time, that time no one answered phone, the message was she is on vocation doesn’t at office, I need to leave my name and phone number. But I was in hurry, so I called the front desk said the agent wasn’t in the office, the message was she is on vocation. After around half an hour, the agent called back, the tone was so mad said why I tell front desk she is not in the office,she is on vocation. I told her your message said that, not me. She was saying oh, I didn’t change back. So it’s my fault I don’t know she was in the office. I couldn’t believe that. The most worst thing I couldn’t forgive was the pink slip/ pink card. Before I got the latest one, the old one was expired more than half year. I found it out when I was changing purse. I didn’t want to talk with the agent, so my dad called her, she said, I will send you an email, you can print it out at home by yourself. When I read the printing instructions, it says clearly “white paper in colour printer, law only accept pink version”. So does that mean, as a customer, I don’t deserve a mail with new pink slip? I should do everything by myself. I should have a colour printer not the lasers one. I should have everything she wants me to have. I don’t know how long the lady becomes an agent, but this basic thing she doesn’t know that is really surprised me.

Well wish i could give zero stars. I had a flooding in my basement and i had a horrible experience dealing with Allstate. I had a flooded basement and they sent people from their authorized contractor PAUL DAVIS in Windsor to do the emergency work. The guy from PAUL DAVIS clearly told me that if i get repairs done through his company he will bill paul davis minimal charges since he is getting the contract to do the repair work. I agreed and asked him to provide me with the quote. He said he will bill for 6k-7k max. as there is not much damage and work to be done. When i filed my claim an agent on the phone said my adjuster will contact me within 24 to 48 hours. Noone called. So i called them back again after 4 days and they said someone will get back. So this went on for 2 weeks where i called them everyday and i keep getting the same response. Finally i get a call from the adjuster. She told me that PAUL DAVIS has billed them for 15k for emergency repair, i explained her that it was a different number that i was given(ofcourse not in writing, so i dont have the proof) and complained to her about their contractor over charging. almost 50% of my coverage as emergency work and also explained her what contractor said that if i settle with his company for repair work he will charge me less, so clearly this was over charged. The adjuster was actually defending the contractor saying that they never over charge and all. So basically they dont care about the people who pay the premiums. They probably have deal with contractors so that they have to pay out as less as they could to their customers. Recently a friend of mine had a flooded basement as well and he was with a different insurance company AVIVA and it was amazing how his insurance company dealt with him. Definitely switching the insurance compay and advising my friends and families to do the same. It was my moral responsibilities to make people aware about the same so that others dont get robbed. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

Allstate is the most terrible insurance company I have ever experienced! They don't value their loyal customers at all. It has been happened twice, the head office don't even return your email. The most recent experience is, as you all know that costco started affiliating their membership with CIBC credit card, so I have got my regular credit card and CIBC costco credit card combined together, and however when they eventually merged together they updated all info, so both of my pre-authorized payment are declined automatically. I didn't realize that until lately I need to renew my sticker. When I called the customer service they simply accused me a non-payment status. And telling me that I need to take all the responsibility... First, I did not get their letter by mail, second they have email and phone number, why didn't they reach their customers to collect the money, rather cancelling it and having a non payment record upon it in order to raise the rate? If you are considering getting or switching your insurance company, allstate it absolutely not one to consider!!!

Had an accident in December 2022. Its now April and can't get anywhere with Allstate. Extremely frustrating feeling left in the dark and nowhere to go. 20+ calls and emails with zero direction. Confused how this is still possible in 2023 - its literally stealing at this point. Its like my situation doesn't exist. Anyways I'm sure nobody will read this anyways lol. Just thought I would share my experience.

Worst company ever ! Run from all state . This insurance company is a big scam . I got into a car accident and reported i did everything on my end..NO ONE ever contacted me back ! I've left several emails ,phone messages nothing ! My rental fees were up and my car was no where close to being fix as no one got in contact with repair shop where my car is ! Complete disaster... I would rate this place a -10 if I could . They don't care about their customers! IM HIGHLY UPSET AND NEED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE IN HIGHER POWER!!!!!@@

5 months and my car didn’t repair so far. If you go to this company, you will add to your misfortune by another calamity. You will suffer a lot if you have an accident. I have a premium contract with them, but I did not get anything special except for poor service. For five months I have been trying to reach someone who advises me to no avail. The first advisor was Shelby McConkey. After a full month of calling and emails, I never received any response, then the customer service department (also useless, whose job is to offer an apology only) changed her to me to Djamel Komar, who only responded to the first email I sent him and then until now No answer. Moreover, the condition of my car was very bad, and the repair technician told me that in such cases they do not repair that car, but the Allstate Company wanted that to reduce costs. Did you know that the cost estimate is more than the price of the car? Despite this, they did not give me a new car. I sent many e-mails about this matter, in which I hold the company fully responsible for anything related to my safety and the safety of my family, but there was no answer. I advise you to stay away from this company because you do not know at what moment the collision may occur.

Terrible auto insurance service, can’t even handle one claim and taking 400$ monthly. We have claim of accident with other person complete fault with proof of police and yet can’t even give us one proper rental car till car is not fixed.1- customer call get forward2- represent person working like messenger man.3- saying car is getting fixed but when you go 409 location your car is sitting their of 2 months yet still getting or waiting for part.4- by the time you get your car! You car will be rusted,dead battery, bird nest, plant coming out from tire rims. Which force clients to sue the company for damages, traumatizing everyday, making hard to get to work.
