The person I spoke with seemed to have understood what I was looking for as I was very specific with what I was wanted and was specific with my questions regarding the baking they offered before I placed my order. However when I cut into the baking it wasn’t at all what the bakery said it was and what I had asked for. Not authentic at all and tasteless! what a waste of food and money! Gave them 1 star rating for freshens of the product

I was also blessed with baked goods from this location, and gods everything I had was amazing. Loved the pretzels, they were amazingly savory bites. But I would die for those cream horns. Just utter perfection. The cream puffs were really good to. I hope to make it down there and fill a box of stuff up for myself one day ;D

I’m getting ready to host a German Exchange student for a few months and all my European friends and Germans on Reddit told me this is the place to buy the best bread in the area. They did not disappoint. I also ended up bringing home pretzels and sausage roll (I ate that in store because it was the best I’ve ever tasted). There weren’t a lot of customers at the moment so my friend and I ended up chatting with the staff for a bit. They were so friendly and knowledgeable that we left there with the biggest grins. Absolutely the best bread I have tasted. I live out of town but this will be a weekly visit for me from now on.

I like their cakes here especially their chocolate flavoured ones. I'm not into chocolates but the flavour they got here was perfect for me, it was not too sweet or it does not seem lacking as well. It was just right so I often come to this place if I need a nice chocolate cake. The place smelled great too!

A wonderful German bakery in south Edmonton that has been run by the same family for decades. The pretzels are, of course, exemplary along with their pretzel buns (pretzel buns are Friday and Saturday only). Their variety of pastries, tortes and pies are almost overwhelming on what to enjoy first! Danishes and the Quark Cheesecake are my personal favourites. The breads and buns are naturally sourdough leavened and have a deeper flavour because of it. It can be busy on Fridays and Saturdays, but like any independent bakery, it’s best to call ahead if you want something specific. They have such a magical selection that going in on a whim is perfectly fine too!

This bakery is exceptional in many ways. From the inviting atmospere to the sinful treats and pastries offered there, its amazing!The prices are reasonable considering the level of heaven your getting. I even heard someone that works there speaking fluent german to a lady who came in and spoke german. Cool.I highly recommend for breakfast, or lunch and takeaways.Edit: Just found out its a german bakery. Ha.

LOVE this bakery!This is my family's favorite Bakery in all of Edmonton, we've been coming here for more than 20 years. They have the most amazing pastries and breads. The Sovital bread is wonderful, and we order the 7 layer torte for pretty much every birthday.
