Nice reservoir to fish, clean water. But check regs before you fish as rules are different for spring/summer fishing and winter (sunrise/sunset).

Bit of a rustic boat launch, but it is deep enough to get larger boats in. There is no dock.

I live 30 mins away and I love this place. I find it quiet to walk enough to walk your dogs in peace, its very clean and well kept. Highly recommend.

Nice campsites along the reservoir. Edges are a bit weedy but the water is warm.

Lake McGregor is a very good prairie recreation spot. We were very successful catching good sized Walleye and Northern Pike. There were small boats, big boats, shore fisherman, and kite surfers on the lake. There is a boat launch on the NW side. The wind can pickup in that area so be prepared. Also, the town of Milo next door has seen a lot of investment over the years adding much convenience.
