They have Afghan style dining and table area we took Afghan style area is big enough for group of 30 ladies. Staff are very friendly and lunch is reasonable price. Of course taste is good.I had a great time!

My first visit to Kabob Garden. It was very good. Loved the ambience, food and the crowd.Definitely a worth try.Authentic Afghani cuisine.I had Chicken Kofta with pilao rice.Very tasty.Got a complimentary dessert as well which was good.

Lovely time as always. Came with 4 people including a child. Service and food is outstanding! Portions run large, as you can see, we have enough left over for 2 more people. Everything is fresh and made to order. Thank you for the lovely firni Kabob Garden :)

Amazing place to eat! Great food, fresh high quality food with large quantities and never disappoints. Highly recommend I got the beef quorma and chicken wrap I tried the platters before also that are great!

The restaurant venue is excellent for family and friends to gather for fresh and well prepared food. The style of food in this restaurant is Afghani style more towards Kabul side and not Peshawar style Afghani food. The restaurant serves halal food even though the owners are Ismaili. All the items are halal. It is a family run restaurant and the staff are very kind. The seating is plenty and the place is very clean. They have private rooms to sit on carpets and tables also. The menu is well balanced. The execution is good. I am disappointed that the restaurant does not serve Chapli kebab please add it to your menu. Please also serve winter special dishes for the cold like beef or goat paya soup. Afghan karahi is famous , that was also missing from the menu. The dishes that are available are well prepared with good quality ingredients. The dishes I tried were very well made and authentic. The chutney is definitely fresh and they do not use ready made. What stands out is everything is fresh and clean and made with effort. Calgary has a very poor food culture. Most restaurants deliver low quality and lack creativity and authenticity. This one definitely puts much more effort. According to Canadian standards this restaurant definitely deserves above a 4 for quality of food. I would rate the food 4.5 max for Canadian standards but if I match it to afghani restaurants in USA I would rate the food 4 max and more around 3 if compared to Afghani food I have had in other parts of south Asia.

This was my partner and myself first time coming here. We ended up sharing the lamb shank and mantu. Both were very good and very unique dishes. The lamb was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the mantu was an interesting and delicious dumpling type dish with beef and onions inside of it that was also fantastic. Portion sizes we good and we both left full. Price also was very reasonable. Staff were good, I prefer the way they do the server were you go up to the counter and order and than they bring it to you.I had never tried Afghan food before this, but it was definitely worth it and I’m sure we’ll be coming back.

Really delicious food. Friendly staff and food were ready within 20 minutes. We ate a few different dishes, and they gave generous portions. Fresh Naan. I loved their lamb tikka.

Kabob Garden - Afghan Kitchen
It was our first time trying Afghan food and it was such a good experience. Lovely service and really good food. I liked the spices and you should try it all. Even the local drinks Barbican brand was nice. Totally recommend if you want a new experience. Our waiter Vasu was so helpful and attentive, gave us everything we need!
