Budget Car Rental

My last review, some years ago I placed, was a 5 star and then my review went missing!...weirdly!I went to edit here today and my good review from before was gone completely...?I had to demote the stars down a bit as I used to be suggested for my very careful move help at times by this Westside location and now no suggests at all my way for so long and all cause I had rented a truck in Kelowna, not even this location, some years ago now, and was promised all winter tires by dispatcher to go to Merritt with and only two tires had mud and snow when I looked and it really concerned me. I got zero of any sorry back from that location so I had to call them out on it of course.So then I heard back from the Westside manager only weirdly and I never even rented from that location. Just to give me heck and to argue that the tires were better than I had reported!!! That sat as well as some ducks in a pond with a ton of hunters and dogs present!This past CDN Thanksgiving I even tried to send a wish their way by postage and IGNORED! To try and make amends and to be the bigger person!And each year until this year I had sent a Christmas card too, (for many years), and no card ever sent my way and I am a person/human too!So this all has not sat well and I have suggested their storage facility to customers like 30 plus times! Maybe even 40 times, lost track but many times! Has to go two ways!No thanks and no care!FRUSTRATED to max and had to voice it all finally!NP,Kelowna, BC

Worst experience ever. First the guy lied to me while returning the car that everything is good. And now one week later he calls me to tell me that I have to pay for a replacement tire because it was punctured. When I told him I am not going to do that he hung up on me. Please avoid them

the rented me a pick up truck with bald tired from the USA summer tires at that. I payed for the package incase eu get stuck and they would not honor that and billed me 200.00 for one day usage.I lost 1200.00 in revenue staff was a complete disaster I should of let the RCMP impound the truck.

Hello everyone,DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!My wife and I rented a car from prepaid during our family vacation and charged us for modifying our pick up time. They also charged me an additional $130.30 for no good reason. I am not on phone call with budget to get a refund and that is another headache on itself! PLEASE PLEASE avoid the headaches! The staff do not specialize in car rentals but in storage units!

I have rented from this location a number of times before, and have always had great service. This time around I needed some extra space for people and luggage, and when picking up my vehicle the team there was fantastic with outlining the options and coming up with the best solution for me financially as well. After I returned the car I was overcharged slightly from what I was initially quoted. I connected with the general info email address and was helped out immediately. Errors happen - but Budget was fantastic with making it right. I'm very pleased with the service I received from start to finish!

Reserved a car online - was there for pick-up... staff informed me that a corporate credit card (not in my name but I am 100% authorized to use - also used at this location late last year while my work truck was in the shop like it is again now) basically told me their is no way they will rent a car out, even though I have been rented to just last December at this same location. Absolutely terrible service, would not recommend - staff needs supervision on site at all times.

Customer service. It's all about the customer service. The staff was very efficient in doing the tremendous amount of paperwork that they have to do. I had to rent a car because I was getting body work done on my main vehicle. The drive to and from the repair shop was safe and helpful.The car I had was almost brand new. It might have been nice to have been offered some instructions on how to use the new keyless entry system but I figured it out pretty quick.

Car rental & moving trucks, boxes, bubble wraps, moving dollies, storage lockers. The staff is very helpful, friendly, accommodating, and the office and building are clean. Easy to find & access right off the highway.

I was not happy that they took full payment based on my itinerary but then added an extra $300 that will be returned when I take the car back. When I questioned this charge I was told all rental companies this fee, this is a complete lie!!!! The customer service people were very inexperienced and rude. Car rental companies better start getting their acts together because there are better choices coming like MOGO!!!!

Easy location to access off highway 97. Quite a large facility as they also have storage units. The vehicle, while having many kilometers for a rental vehicle (50,000km) was in excellent running condition. Inside was very clean. The gas tank was actually full for a change. Frequent car renters are quite familiar with renting a car and the previous renter stopped filling as soon as the needle showed it was full (of course one can always put more litres in). The staff person Blake was excellent but frankly he needed help. There were 2 other customers in front of me and while he was efficient and friendly, an additional person would have been beneficial. Covid 19 protocols were in place.
