Kal Tire

Took my car in for a new set of tires and wheel alignment today. Was very pleased with the overall service from booking the appointment to picking the car up. The person who booked my appointment was great and the tech who did the work order up and completed the service was courteous and quick. The whole job was done in an hour.

I found the guys to be very friendly.I had brand new alloy wheels and new sensors. Had winters to be mounted in these new rims. They weren’t able to program my sensors and I had to purchase their’s which of course were more expensive.As soon as I got home I checked to ensure they were in-fact the tires I brought in ( I marked them to make sure they wouldn’t get mixed up) They were my tires, but in checking I found out they scratched my brand new Alloy rims. I’ve reached out to consumer service. Waiting to here what they plan to do. Not a happy customer.

This is my second time using the Kanata Edgeworth location for my tire changeover and I will be returning this fall for my winter tire changeover. They are friendly, efficient and professional, I highly recommend them

Booked the car in for new winters and an alignment. Dropped the car of 15min early for an 11am appointment and communicated the key for the locking nuts was put on the dash so there was no confusion. We have had issues in the past with this. Received a call at 12:30, to say that the lock nut key was missing. Told them that this could not be the case as it was left visible on the dash so I was put one hold. Lo and behold in about 2 min it was found on the floor.The abysmal team communication, service standard and inability to look on the floor of the car is laughable. We were offered the option to chose another day rather than wait another 2hrs because everyone was going on lunch.Tire changes are quoted for 1 to maybe 1.5 hrs hopefully after 4 hrs the job will be done.

Highly recommend this location as staff is very friendly and customer service is top notch. The team went above and beyond to help with my winter tires and a flat - will definitely become a regular here.

First time going to Kal Tires. Had an excellent experience. Tires were installed in less time than quoted. Mitch at the front counter was great. I definitely will be coming back to this store and would recommend others to as well.

Yesterday I had new tires installed at Kat Tire on Edgewater with good service. This morning to my horror I had a flat on the rear right one. I immediately call Kal Tire and explained to Rupesh my situation and Pierre the Manager came to my reçue and drove to my apartment building and added air so I could drive back to Kal Tire where they squeezed me in to have this fixed. Thank you so much for the prompt service. Merci encore Pierre!

Unbelievably expensive. EDIT: Weights ended up falling off the tire - 2ND EDIT: the error was rectified, I was charged incorrectly by a new employee. Mistakes happen, in the end it’s been a number of months and the weights have NOT fallen off and don’t regret going there. Thank you Kal Tire.Showed up with rims and tires for my wife’s Honda Civic in the box of my truck. 170$ (37.50$ a wheel) for them to be mounted, balanced, and put back in the box of my truck. Couldn’t believe it.Anywhere else I called was 15-25$ per and 25$ was for bigger tires like my 33/12.5/18 truck tires. Only reason why I went through with it is everywhere else was booked and the wife wanted them done that day.EDIT: Around 9-10 hours after leaving the shop, while cleaning my wife’s vehicle… I found the weights on the ground in my lane way, they well of the rims… and the car hasn’t even been driven yet… 3/4 of the tires have no weights on them currently…First and last time I’ll be going here.

I liked being able to book an appointment online, getting prompt and friendly service. Got summer tires (on rims) put on. They topped up the pressure. Good price too.My tires don’t feel like they’re sitting right though, so I don’t know anymore. Also, I went back after 100 K for the re-torque and apparently they don’t do that. Although they did since I was there already.

Always available when I need to change my winter tires since costco is always booked up. However, it is bit pricey.Friendly people that work here and service takes reasonable time.
