This new establishment is phenomenal! The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to sitting on the patio in the warmer weather!

We had an excellent brunch here today. The drinks were great, the food was delicious. Definitely try the homemade passion flaky (it is way better than the packaged one from childhood)

Wow, The Lockesmith (clever name) has the best fish and chips I've had. The haddock simply melted, it was so perfectly cooked, with a light, crisp batter. The fries" were different shapes and sizes

My friend and I walked into The Lockesmith yesterday, on Canada Day for a late dinner. We were warmly welcomed.  We both loved our dinner choices! She had the fish and chips, and I had the lamb. The portions were hardy, and the flavours were excellent. We were served by Patty, who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. I highly recommend this spot for dinner, and will be back!

Dined on April 22 for dinner reservations.The atmosphere is nice. Service was decent. The dishes sound great but need work on their execution. The half chicken plate for example, the jus/puree tasted delicious but it was cold. The gnocchi on the plate sound great however were the worst gnocchi I've ever had. They were quite hard and dense. The chicken was under seasoned and the skin wasn't that crisp (as depicted on their social media). The duck confit pie was generally good but the pastry was a little dry. The jus on the outside was nice but the inside of the pie needed moisture. The highlight of the meal was the passion flakey for dessert. Very successful. Delicious and exactly what you expect and want out of a passion flakey.

Absolutely loved it there! Our server Ashley was great!We had appetizers and drinks. The hand cut fries with curry ketchup were outstanding and the bread could get me in trouble with how much I wanted to eat!Highly recommend!

Highly recommend The Lockesmith. Went in on a whim with the nice weather and looking for a patio. Was pleasantly surprised! The braised pork belly was delicious, super tender and well seasoned. My husband and son both had the burgers. They were juicy and tasted delicious- my 4 yr old was a fan! Great fries - crispy and soft on the inside. Definitely going back!

Had a business lunch at this newly opened restaurant today (former Brux House). Very friendly, professional staff but the team is a bit unorganized at the moment (I trust this will be corrected as they ramp up). Regardless, great patio, cold beer and (very) good food worth checking out!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch on the patio. Both the braised pork belly and shrimp salad were excellent and we were able to order half-size beers for lunch. The server was very good, and I look forward to returning to try more of their soon.

Wanted to love this restaurant but the food was disappointing. The halibut was very bland. The potatoes and beans were hardly seasoned. The bread starter was underbaked. Great location, decent ambiance but the food needs to live up to the hype. Hoping that they can work out the kinks and improve their offerings. It seems like they are receptive to feedback and are willing to change up their menu, which is great. Would be willing to try this restaurant again in a few months.
