Mercy Canada has been a key component in the lives of young women seeking help with addictions and mental health struggles. I have seen the impact of the work of this organization in the lives of women I know personally and I am so grateful for the ongoing hope Mercy Canada offers to young women seeking restoration and healing in their lives. Thank you Mercy!

I confess I wish zero was an option here. I first came to hear of Mercy Ministries Canada back in 2013 when I applied and was accepted into their residential treatment program. I was thrilled! A Christ entered focus for life controlling issues that’s exactly what I needed in that time of my life. I came to mercy ready to put in hard work into healing. I quickly realized what was promised to me was to quickly fail away and some of my worst fears would realized. Some memories include a ‘discipline’ of me on my hands and knees scrubbing kitchen grout with the only utensil they ‘d give me a toothbrush for two days straight. I remember being scolded for having dissociative moments and traumatic flashbacks; neither of which I had any control over at that point in my life. I recall so many moments that were so questionable that I questioned the existence of God Himself if what these staff members were saying were true: I didn’t comply with their program somehow and I was released into the very environment that they just the day before promised me was killing me and wouldn’t get me anywhere and would keep me trapped in traumatic cycles. I was kicked out without a word of support or any references or referrals after have been living with them for the past months. I hate mercy ministries. It’s ruined my life in more ways than one. It taught me that I wasn’t enough and that God’s loved was somehow suddenly conditional to following these rules and practices that some lady named Nancy Alcorn came up with and thought was universal for all types of healing. I didn’t fit the mould for their healing so I got kicked out. If anyone has any real problems don’t go to mercy Canada. They’re monsters who don’t actually care.

This facility offers real, lasting help to women who struggle with a number of issues. The program here is a holistic approach to seeing change happen in people's lives. Physical health, mental health, dietary health, emotional health, and spiritual health are all dealt with in a magnificent way.

I have worked alongside of the Mercy administration, staff, and clients for over 5 years. The freedom and life change I have witnessed is amazing and all the glory belongs to God! The entire organization serves with servant hearts and humility to best help young women struggling with challenging addictions, anxiety, trauma, and self doubt. I have had the immense pleasure to mentor and just be a friend to a young women who found freedom and life changing restoration through her journey at Mercy. I would highly recommend anyone needing to take a next step to reach out to the Mercy team!
