I don't know if this place has changed ownership, but it's not the same. Been going to this restaurant 18 years, and today the Donaire is not the same as it used to be. I could eat 2, but this time we couldn't even finish 1. Not very pleased. Not sure if we will be going back. I might bring back what we couldn't eat and they can throw it away!

The best place in Calgary, I have tried alot of shawarmas and this hands down beats everywhere else. I drive in from the country because I have to have the chicken option along with the freshest variety of topping sides. Plus the staff are very very kind and friendly. Check them out! Been eating there since 2015 :)

Desert Pita makes fresh delicious food. The restaurant is very clean. The staff are super friendly. Prices are reasonable. Their donairs are delicious and the only place in Calgary I will go buy them.

The Shawarma is wonderful, definitely my favorite in the city. Everything feels much healthier and fresher than most places. I try to go here at least twice a week for my lunch break, and it's a saving grace in an area with such little options. The staff are genuinely friendly. Their service is honest and sweet, and in a sense that you can see they simply are kind people. Having lunch here can be a great energy boost on a tough day.

Love the food.!! One of Best donairs in Calgary!! I been coming here for years, enjoying there donairs. I always have the best experience when i come here!! food and service. Stella and Veny and the staff are awesome, very friendly and welcoming. My husband and I love it here and will continue to come. Thank you for the good service and allowing Calgarians to enjoy whats cooking in your Kitchen!!! Keep up the good work……..

I've been lucky to work a couple minutes from desert pita for the past year and a half. I go in every Thursday for a beef donair and the staff is always super friendly. The menu displays always make me want to try the platters but I'm a creature of habit.

I like saucing up my chicken platter(spicy mayo,sweet donair sauce, and garlic sauce made it oomph). The photo is like that I couldn't resist to take a bite a soon as I got it. It's got hummus and salad, with it. The staff are friendly to me. Definitely try the Shish Taouk too! It's just the right spicy.

Today my husband and I had the pleasure of delivering a laptop we sold to someone who works here, and we each had a beef donair! My husband also added chicken to his. It was so good!!! We will definitely go back when we are in the area. I'd love to try some of the other items on the menu, like the platters. The staff are very kind as well!!

Best donairs in Calgary hands down, I come here everyday for my lunch break. Best service around, The staff is awesome, very friendly and orders are done almost immediately after ordering. You are missing out if you pick another donair shop over desert pita

Best donairs in the city! Make sure you do the fried onions and coleslaw toppings - delicious! The staff are so friendly and we always have a good laugh together. Go get some!
