After a failed attempt at getting an antique clock repaired through another local business, I was relieved to find, and then have a positive experience with, Shores Clock Shop. Ken is clearly a most knowledgeable master of his trade. It is so rewarding to have antique clocks back in perfect running order after many years of needing service. It's getting harder and harder to find someone capable of doing these kinds of repairs.

We acquired a late 1800's long case grandfather clock and was looking to find someone local to go through it and get it working. Ken did a excellent job of replacing the warn out parts, ordered period correct hands and even made the calendar hand to match. In less time than most other places (under 5 weeks) he brought it to our house and even set it up to work properly. Everything is working as it should and keeps great time considering it's over 130 years old. Thanks Ken for everything. If you're looking for a mechanical clock guy, this is the place to go. Highly recommend him.

We live in saint clair shores and Googled a clock master. Ken scheduled the appointment on Monday and was very punctual. He took his time to put my husband's grandfather clock that goes over 50 years, explained how to wind it and other necessary details. Will call him again if needed. Highly recommended and very knowledgeable. Then you!

Recently Ken came to the house to work on a century-old grandfather's clock. I was easily able to schedule an appointment quickly. Ken not only fixed the issue, but he also went beyond to make other adjustments the clock needed. He obviously knows his craft! This is the first time I've used Shores Clock Shop, and it will now become the place i go to when clocks are in need of repair.

Ken arrived on time and quickly alleviated my anxiety about hiring a professional who was new to me. He was here to see if the grandfather clock which I had inherited could be repaired. As he took the clock apart he explained what he was doing, and then clearly told me my three options for repair. Within an hour, Ken had the clock running, and those beautiful chimes working. I will definitely call the Shores Clock Shop for future maintenance.

Ken is a delight to work with. He's very transparent, informative, and professional. He is worth every penny you will pay because his competance is outstanding. Ken was phenomenal in helping us fix our big wall clock. We couldn't find anyone to help us but he drove an hour here to check our clock out than came back to pick it up and fixed it. He than delivered it and installed it on our wall.Our clock works great and we are so happy! Ken was very kind, and explained all details to us. We highly recommend him!

Had them repair an old clock from my grandmother’s house. The owner is super knowledgeable and was able to tell me quite a bit about the history and characteristics of the clock. Clock was repaired in a very reasonable amount of time and the price was extremely fair. Upon pick up I was given lots of tips and care instructions to keep my clock working well for years to come! Will definitely be going back with other clock repair needs!

Ken got the grandfather clock that my father in law made going and he rebuilt an old family mantle clock. His knowledge and expertise are excellent. Highly recommended.
