Came to shop for makeup for my makeup page that I run on Facebook. Was only in there for less than 5 minutes and I was followed. I proceeded to the cosmetics section with my child in the cart and picked out a blush/eyeshadow pallet, then out from behind me an employee with red/copper hair came stomping beside me and pretended to start fixing the makeup very aggressively after I had looked at it. My 3 year old even asked me “mommy why is she mad” but I just continued to shop. I was shocked at how aggressive she was with the cosmetics I was checking out, as they can brake easily. I wanted to ask for help but she was very unapproachable and had thee meanest look on her face. Not anywhere in the store was she fixing anything else but the cosmetics that I had touched afterwards. I felt so uncomfortable. At checkout she was nowhere in the store fixing anything like she was when I was shopping around, she was at the till just standing there in the back. I know she followed me (which is fine) but she did not even offer her help me at all. I hate to say this but I was discriminated. It happened to a few times here, this is just one bad experience. Not every Aboriginal that walks in the store is here to steal!!!!!

I usually find what I'm looking for here at a much better price than anywhere else. I always check here first. You can find brand name at a discount. keep up to date with the styles in clothing, shoes, face and hair care, houseware, decorations ,furniture and lighting. You are even allowed to bring in your dog to the pet section for a wide selection of cute toys and healthy products. A gift card to this is a one stop shop and would definitely be used. You definitely spend time looking though it all and can be overwhelming to someone who doesn't like to shop.

Great store. Winners on steroids. Huge selection and decent pricing. Plenty of parking. Nice open atmosphere. Way on the south side and it can get crazy busy but a nice stop.

I went in and found exactly what I was looking for! Blake was awesome, he helped me pick out new decor for my apartment, and then went above and beyond to match it to other items in the store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff!

I find this store to be soul less. Staff and patrons seem to be travelling through life in fugue states.On a positive note, I learned recently that these stores are connected with Winners', a very popular discount sales outlet.

Always a great place to shop. Lots of good deals but also some pricey items. Very nice and clean with helpful staff. Bathrooms are usually nice and clean too.

A great place to come for seasonal and yearly home decor. They have some really unique items for very good prices. The store is large with a huge selection. I love to come here for wedding gifts and holiday decor. If you're looking for that perfect piece of wall art, mirror, or side table this is a great place to come. They usually have nice things in clearance too!

If I could rate a zero I would!!!!!! I am a regular shopper at Marshall’s. I am a ABORIGINAL female and today I experienced the worst case of racism in a long time. As I proceeded to look for some skincare I had not one, not two but THREE sales representatives fallow me one after another. At first I thought “well, this is there job”, but after they continued to watch what I was doing (while TRYING to look busy, getting in my way of looking at what I was trying to purchase) I had to asked one lady if I can please look at what she was in the way of. It was annoying having the three ladies trying to look busy when it was obvious they were watching me. I proceeded to the check out where I purchased my items. Then, all of a sudden I noticed the same 3 ladies at the till being not so busy as they were earlier while I was shopping. I felt the discrimination and I felt very angry and upset, it was then I headed towards the exit. As I approached the exit I seen an Aboriginal male walk into the store, I overheard one of the ladies at the till say “I got this one” meaning the aboriginal male shopper. I stopped at the exit and watched the same 3 ladies heading in the aboriginal males direction. There was one more lady headed in the same direction when I stopped her and asked “Do you follow every Aboriginal person that comes in here”? She made a comment about them “being busy”, I told her that I felt discriminated and so degraded. I tried explaining to her that this was not right but she had just walked away while I was still very calmly talking to her. This is discrimination and Marshall’s your employees need to DO BETTER!!!! We are supposed to be in reconciliation but there are people like your employees continuing to discriminate and degrade. I’ve never felt so embarrassed. This was very unfortunate considering I like shopping here. PLEASE educate your employees and do better. I’m still hurt and upset.
