An absolute must stop when visiting the island. Short hike up to the viewpoint is rewarded with magnificent views of the waters where Haro Strait, Boundary Pass, and Swanson Channel meet.If you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of whales below. There are even binoculars available to use. Just kindly return them to the storage box when done.

The hike is short but very steep, but the view is worth it. Be aware that there are not much in the way of railings at the top, and it can be quite windy. The trail is well maintained and easy to follow.

Beautiful panoramic view. Good spot for sunset & if your lucky whale spotting. 10-15 min hike up hill. Viewpoint 1 is a small peek a boo view with bench, Viewpoint 2 is panoramic view with multiple benches & 1 picnic table. Worth the hike.

This is literally the best spot in the island. Could be sitting there all day just looking at the spectacular view. Really really worth the hike! If you're out of shape (like me) you'll get there breathless but I promise its so worthy!!!

Oak Bluffs Park is located in the northern part of Pender Island. The park is not big. There is only a small road uphill. Once you reach the top of the mountain, it will give you a big surprise. Because the scenery on the top of the mountain is so beautiful, it can be 180 degrees, and the scenery on the south side is particularly good, with mountains and waters, endless changes. You can see Salt Spring Island and Victoria Island. It is the best attraction on Pender Island. You must go to this public view when you come to Pender Island. There are two best viewing platforms on the top of the mountain.
