Good variety of equipment for a majority of sports and activities however only really have basic options for most things.

Great service today in the shoe department. I didn't have to wait to be assisted and the young lady who helped me out was friendly, quick finding me options in my size and was back to check often once I tried on a few pairs at a time. I found a nice pair of court shoes at a decent price and left very confident in my purchase.

It would help if there were ever sales people on the floor and when someone is waiting patiently for turn in shoes, it means they are waiting for service. Today there was nobody in sight on floor. Tired of trying to buy shoes here. 4 times, 4 strikes. Sale brought us this time, wasted drive

The store associates are full of stereotypes.I went to the store to buy special kind of gloves. I asked one of the associates if they happened to have that special gloves. The associate was explaining to me, but suddenly, a female associate interjected the conversation and said that the store does not have such gloves. Even if they have, they are very costly. For some seconds, I was shocked. I mean, I am the one to decide whether they are expensive or not for me. But the store associate judged me: I do not know on what basis. Both the store associates went away without helping me. I checked the price, and the gloves that I was looking for that the female store associate said were costly were just $30.Management of the sports check you should please look into this. Well, I will shop in other stores and never sports check, and I will encourage my friends and family to do the same.

Will never shop here again. Very unprofessional staff, rude, no customerservice skills and makes people feel uncomfortable. My mother was browsing for a birthday gift for her grandchild and they acted as if she was a thief. No indication of stealing whatsoever! She felt very embarrassed the way these snotty stuck up kids were treating her. I normally buy my workout gear here but not anymore. Snobby staff on a power trip, where is management these days? Do better. We left and will never get our business again.

Nice Sport Chek attached to an Atmosphere. I assume that because of the general size of North Bay, they deemed it not necessary to have separate stores, pity. Atmosphere would make for a nice dedicated outdoor store like MEC or SAIL.
