I’m giving 2 stars because the ring I ended up with was good but the service was worth 0 stars and I will not be returning to this jeweler.I came in to this store in January to have my and my husbands wedding bands custom made from melting down his grandmothers gold. Our wedding was in April and I wanted to have the rings early to save time to worry about other things.Long story short, he took 3 months to make our rings and I received them 6 days before our wedding. He made my husbands band with his grandmothers gold but he said mine was too difficult. I respect that but if he had told me that earlier I would never have paid for this as it was really important to me to have that gold and now I never will, at least in this ring.When I handed my engagement ring to him in January to match the sizing and fix a crack he said I would get it back in a week but I spent the entire 3 months leading up to my wedding without my engagement ring. I called every 2 weeks for an update to which they always responded “soon”. Even 2 weeks before my wedding they said the rings were done but I couldn’t get them back because he was matching the colour of my 2 rings. When I came to get the rings 6 days before my wedding, the colours didn’t even match.I spent 3 months stressing about my rings and coming here was my biggest wedding regret.

I am ecstatic about the wedding band Alex created for me. My fiance and I brought him a photograph of a ring we liked, and he expertly discussed options with us regarding design, value, materials, and technical concerns. He was endlessly patient with my fiance's questions. His artistry and professionalism is evident -- a true craftsman who takes immense pride in his work. He created a beautiful match for my engagement ring, one that will withstand the test of time. I would 100% recommend him.

I want to express my admiration for the professionalism and talent of master goldsmith Alex. I live in Edmonton and got a recommendation from my friends in Calgary. The whole order and correspondence took place online; I received options and sketches and made changes, and Alex was patient :) And as a result, this, no doubt, the masterpiece was created with an exact copy of my handwriting. It was a birthday present for my son. He was happy, and there was not a single person who would not pay attention to this thing. Alex, thank you so much for your talent. Sending you another order!

I came to Alex in May of 2020 to create a custom engagement ring for my fiance. He was very communicative and provided me with several updates while he was crafting the ring. Alex created a 3D printed model of the ring and ring setting. This was great because it was like getting a preview of the ring. It made me even more excited to see the finished product. Alex continued to be responsive through email and over the phone and gave me an accurate estimate of when my ring would be finished. Fair price and high quality. Highly recommend.

They were very professional and super kind. Told me it would be about two weeks and even called me to update on the process before the two weeks was up. My ring was fixed perfectly and I couldn’t be happier. They are very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend them for any repairs.

I took some old gold jewelry pieces in and talked to Alex about having it melted down and creating one special piece for me. He did an amazing job and got it done in time for my birthday! I would highly recommend Trio Diamond and Gold - they have some wonderful unique pieces of jewelry.

Very pleasant experience. Very professional and knowledgable stuff. Alex is a great designer graduated Faberge school of designers and I'm so happy I found him. The ring he created for us turned out much better than we expected! Will recommend to all my family and friends! It's a super nice place to get done jewelry fix job!

Went to see Alex at Park and Tilford to discuss a few things and was so impressed with him that I left my wedding bands to get resized, which was more work than usual because I had them soldered together years ago. I just picked them up and he did an amazing job. They look better than they did before, the soldering is much more precise, and the size is perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alex to anyone, knowing that the jewelry he handles means so much more than 'just jewelry'. Awesome experience! Thank you, Alex!

I contacted Trio to see if they could help me with a ring band repair. I received an e-mail response almost immediately and Alex called me shortly thereafter. I dropped the ring off at their Park & Tilford shop with Valerie (who is very helpful) and the repaired ring was returned to my home - on the Sunshine Coast - by Alex. The ring was not only repaired but was beautifully cleaned when returned and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Trio Diamond & Gold Jewellery.

Alexandr is the best gem in his store!He recently made a family ring for our grandson’s graduation and actually left a celebration Saturday night to make sure it was polished to excellence! Then he met me on Sunday morning to give us the ring because the ceremony was that afternoon.(He also made a gorgeous cartouche designed by my husband for our 50th wedding anniversary).
