I had a 5/5 star experience working with Ontrack! In fact, they're my new heroes! My iMac quit booting up after it attempted to update Monterey from Big Sur (I had been blocking this update, maybe that was a huge mistake). I tried internet recovery and eventually Apple Support had me install an OS on an external drive. That allowed me to boot up my iMac and I could see the original Fusion drive inside the iMac. That drive showed up Uninitialized and I panicked! Luckily I didn't try to repair it myself. The Genius Bar at Apple Rosedale recommended I take it to Ontrack to recover my data before trying to reinstall the OS. Chris at Ontrack walked me through the entire process and could not have been more helpful. He told me they'd have to open up the iMac and couldn't guarantee it'd ever work again, as it was more important to me to get my files back. It took a long time to transfer 1.6TB off of my failed Fusion drive, but it was well worth it! Ontrack was able to recover all of my files!!! I was even able to salvage my iMac and have Apple install a new 2TB Fusion drive. In fact, I'm leaving this review from it right now. :)

I recently had a hard drive stop working for me. None of my computers even recognized the drive, it even made the computer start doing weird things when the drive was plugged in. OnTrack advertised that they wouldn’t charge unless they could retrieve your data so I give them a try. I sent in my damaged external and within a week they sent me a report with the files they found to see if I justified the price for repair. It was a little more spendy than I thought it would've been, but was definitely worth it.

I unfortunately needed to use Ontrack services to recover data from my Fusion drive in my iMac. They were able to get the data quickly and I didn't lose a thing! Expensive, but necessary. Hopefully will never need to use again but definitely recommend them to everyone. Learned my lesson about backing up my computer!

Needed help getting EasyRecovery setup on my PC...Paul in support quickly responded to my questions with a few quick, back and forth emails. Within a short period EasyRecovery was up and running. Excellent and easy to use tool to recover lost files on my crashed HDD. Highly recommend the tool and the support is #1.

I had trouble activating my OnTrack Recovery software after the first year. Paul answered my email quickly and the replacement activation code worked perfectly. It was a big relief to have my problem solved so quickly and courteously.
