The Beach at Birch Bay
A gem in Birch Bay. Great local bands with talented musicians that mainly do covers with a handful of original songs. Open mic night and trivia night are entertaining. The remodeled stage area is well designed for better views and plenty of dance space. Ashley, Jeff, and all the kitchen staff have exceptional customer service. The food is good and they have a variety of menu items they rotate.

The Beach at Birch Bay
We visited The Beach several times during our 2020 summer in Birch Bay and always had a great night. Reasonable drink and food prices. Nice patio for sunset. Good live music many nights and a friendly crowd. It didn't take long to feel like a local with bartenders knowing your names and drink orders. Thursday night trivia was one of the better trivia nights we've been to. Can't wait to be back!

Great touristy kind of place in Birch Bay area, right on the water front. Fries were really good. Sat and watched the sunset during dinner time, very picturesque. My family would like to go back again to try a few more items on the menu that sounded tasty!

I want to give them 5 stars so bad, but they are completely unreliable with regard to the kitchen. The food is great. And they'll tell you they're open until 8pm on weekends. But apparently if they're even slightly slow they'll shut down right away with absolutely no warning, and complete disregard for any regulars who come in around 7pm for a bite. (a full hour BEFORE the kitchen is supposed to close). Again the food is good, but their hours, regardless of what they tell you in person or online, completely unreliable.Updated - it's not ideal, but I have found calling every time now has made it far easier to give them the overall rating they deserve. If the hours were more consistent I'd go 5 star, but you still need to call every time in order to make sure you're not disappointed when you get there and find out they're closed, despite what the hours say.

Entertaining and fun with many table games available to play. A friendly atmosphere, with great food, live music at times, and a dance floor, all beside the beach, similar to a tiki bar!

The Beach at Birch Bay
This place is rather unassuming from the outside and, looking in, reminds you of all the dives you’ve been too. Except, they set themselves apart for a number of reasons.First, their service is fantastic! The bartender was patient and happy to help my family and I. He knew the menu and offered up great suggestions. When the food was ready another fine gentleman ran it out to us and asked if we needed anything. Yet another guy came out and checked on us a little later as well.The food was actually very good. The fries were perfectly breaded and cooked and had a great texture and flavor. The burgers were moist and generously topped and very flavorful. The fish and chips was a little pricey for the amount of fish you get, but it was still delicious to eat and thankfully the fries are filling. Finally, the onion rings are large and delectable. The drinks were also a good size and they weren’t watered down or too overpowering, yet generously poured.And lastly, the location itself. Situated across the street from the beech in the sleep town of Birch Bay this spot has an amazing outdoor patio with ample seating, corn hole, a stage, umbrellas, and a great view.I recommend grabbing a beer next door at the new brewery that is actually attached before or after stopping in here as well, as it makes for a great day.
