Did not comply with COVID-19 entrance proceedures... Nonessential work is described as tourism. I was denied entrance seemingly inappropriately at this port even though I need to be in Canada to reunite with family, to maintain farming and provide medical care while care for two minors as well. While the agent was respectful enough, this lengthy process did not follow the U.S./Canada entrance agreement for COVID-19 travel, as issued and outlined by both governments.

This border crossing was awesome yesterday. Very relaxed with no other travelers in sight. It took about 45 minutes because one of our phones couldn’t retrieve a negative Covid-19 result. There is no cell service there!The officer was very professional and thorough, but very nice and friendly also, and really bent over backwards and was very patient in helping us get our test results to where he could see them. We arrived there at 9:30 AM on August 19, 2021Thanks again, Officer!
