Great relaxing place

Excellent place to sit and watch the lake, either from the pier itself or the pavilion on the hill.The pier was rebuilt in 2019 and looks amazing. You get a great view of Toronto, Canada, Lake Ontario, and the adjacent lakefront properties from it. The structure has ladders on the side in case you want to jump in the lake. If you do be careful of the rocks next to the pier under the surface of the water. Schools of fish can often be watched next to the structure. One to five people have been there when I go, but I have never seen it crowded.There is a a nice bench halfway up the hill facing the lake that seats a few people. It is shaded by a tree. A nice pavilion with plenty of tables and seats inside sits on top of the hill. Birds nest in its rafters, so watch out. South of the pavilion is a decent parking lot with a porta potty and a sign about Western New York. The sign is in English and is very easy to read.I have made a lot of beautiful memories here.

Quiet place to sit and relax while enjoying the lake breeze and views. Get there for sunset.

We love coming to Olcott. We finally got to go out on the new pier and we were not disappointed. The wife and kids loved it. It's beautiful the pictures speak for themselves
