The two guys that came and fixed a couple panels and put up the squirrel wire were great.  They were very professional, pleasant to chat with, and did a great job.  Great representation for the company. Scott, has always been a great guy to deal with and he did the original installation of my solar project many years ago. I'd recommend working with Merlyn power to all my family and friends.

After getting 10 different quotes from 6 different companies we chose Merlyn Power for price, local, responsiveness and timeline. We had a 7.92 kw solar panel system installed on our roof in November. The team worked quickly over a 2 day install of 24 panels and inverter. The team was polite, cleanly and responsive to all of my questions. The sun has finally started to shine in March and we’ve already produced 600kw on this billing cycle to cover our electricity bill and more. Scott Cooper did a great job installing our pool water solar heating here in Kitchener, It was a big job as our pool is a 20 X 40 size and the location of the solar panels on our roof is some distance from our pool house. After a few early adjustments by Scott, all works most satisfactory and we enjoyed 89 degree water this past summer. I fully recommend Scott for a solar install as he is a most responsible person and easy to work with.

We had a unique circumstance with our solar panels that required out-of-the-box thinking to repair. We originally had roofers look at the issue and they were largely at a loss as to how to the fix it. Completely fed up with the situation and not sure what to do, we found Merlyn Power online. In one consultation, Scott had an idea about the source of our issue and was able to fix it promptly. He also noticed that we had squirrel's nest under one of the panels- we never would have known had he not mentioned this. Merlyn Power installed a rooftop system over 10 years ago. This year it had to be removed and reinstalled to re-shingle the entire roof. I was able to personally inspect the roof once the panels were removed and was very pleased that all roof penetrations were sealed as if it was done yesterday. Scott supported everything necessary to have the solar array in full operation after the re-shingle. Very thankful to have the company support their installation after a decade of operation.

Merlyn Power did a great job of installing our solar panels 6 years ago. Any questions or concerns we've had since have always been readily answered and addressed. We've had some equipment issues with the system covered by warranty, but Merlyn has been there reliably to deal with the issues.

Scott Cooper installed both a solar PV (4.3kW) system and a solar thermal (domestic hot water) on my property some 7 years ago. There have been minor maintenance issues (eg squirrels) with both systems along the way which Scott has taken care of efficiently and promptly. You will be hard pressed to get a better quality job than what Scott can give you. He is experienced, knowledgeable and very fair in his pricing. Highly recommended!
