Such a great Japanese fusion restaurant. Food was fantastic, lots of variety to choose from, entire menu is gluten free.

Tried out Wild Orchid Bistro for our last meal. Asian fusion, with a 100% gluten free menu, inside of the Silver Creek Lodge.Service was friendly and helpful. My sister brought in a bottle (corkage fee is $20.00).- Gin & tonic ($7.00)- Shrimp tempura ($9.00) - only 4 pieces.- Chicken karaage ($12.00) - a touch salty but the karaage was moist.- Atlantic lobster roll ($16.00) - nothing particularly memorable taste wise.- Softshell crab roll ($15.00) - better than the lobster roll. Avocado was fresh.- Wild fish and chips ($25.00) - decent but the fish lacked a crunchy batter.- Crispy ginger bites ($17.00) - we opted for the beef. Nice bite with a slightly sticky sauce.- Chili sesame tofu ($10.00) - standard fare.- Crunchy salmon roll ($13.00) - best of the rolls that we ordered.- Beef tataki ($15.00)- Negitoro roll ($11.00) - big, so-so quality.- Spicy tuna roll ($14.00) - again, large rolls.- 2x Taste of curry ($22.00) - good portion.- Sticky treacle pudding ($11.00) - treacle was delicious, sauce wasn't too sweet. A good shareable portion.If you're GF, WOB is a great spot to grab food. Don't expect a sushi spot and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Delicious sushi in Canmore!! The best roll was the spicy tuna and the nigiri were amazing! Can’t go wrong coming here, so many options on the menu too!!!

Good atmosphere. I thought it was pretty cool that the restaurant is gluten free as we have a friend we dined with that is celiac. We ordered the rolls that we usually order from sushi restaurants and it wasn’t the best we’ve had. The presentation was great and the sushi was decent.

I have Celiac Disease and it's severe to the point of not being able to handle any minor cross contamination or gluten free oats, this place was very amazing for someone who can't eat out at many places.I never had sushi before, we enjoyed the lobster and soft crab roll. The ginger chicken was amazing! Had the chocolate quinoa cake. Never had the chance to experience a place like this before and it was overall pretty great for food.Cheesecake does have gluten free oats for anyone else who can't have them.

Food was so amazing! I was so excited to see an all gluten free restaurant especially an Asian fusion one. Everyone was so awesome and friendly. The food had great presentation, and the food tasted delicious. The homemade sauces were so tasty as well. I wish every place had somewhere like these fantastic 100% gluten free restaurant!

The food was delicious and my wife who eats gluten free could eat everything. The ginger beef was by far the best I have ever eaten. We will eat here everytime we are in Canmore.

Our waiter at the Fairmont recommended Wild Orchid as the BEST chicken wings in the area. He was 100% accurate!Although I was so excited, I didn't take a picture of them. We had the teriyaki sesame wings and tore through them like we hadn't eaten in days.The pork spring rolls were solid as well.We had the Bison Burger , Caterpillar roll, and the Crispy Ginger Beef.All is gluten free too!Recommend order for 4: 2 orders of wings (teriyaki & ginger), pork spring rolls, and crispy ginger beef & chicken (2 orders)Enjoy!

Absolutely stunning food. Always interesting to see sushi restaurants' unique combinations and the salmon crunch roll with the garlic was INCREDIBLE. Great sake and a beautiful view make this place worth the visit.
