A sweet ride on a sturdy ferry across Lake Diefenbaker. What more Saskatchewan unique can you ask for? Enjoy the ride.

Ferry was great. But maybe time to maintain the waiting area. Grass is never cut and there is scrap metal all over the place. Clean it up and add some paint and it will be better

The ferry runs every hour from the east at the top of the hour and takes approx. 12 minutes to cross. Traffic usually isn't too bad when crossing as there are only a few vehicles in cue to board. Have only seen the occational semi and farm vehicle cross.

The Riverhurst ferry is posted on the SK Highway Hotline as having been activated on June 23 at 1 pm. I noticed that it was listed on the Google site as being temporarily closed and have requested an edit to this out-of-date information since it occurred 2 days ago and people need to have the information when travelling.

Not often one gets views of the ferry like this, scheduled maintenance time! Proud to be part of the crew bringing the ferry ashore. Job completed safely!
