Grand Times Hotel Sherbrooke

The hotel is nice the location and the roomsBut is it safeI left my ring which has not only a material but emotional value under the pillow and all they could say is* la gouvernante checked but found nothing* The room was cleaned twice after your stay and nothing was foundWell that was unpleasant to say the least

The front desk staff was terrible, unfriendly and unprofessional. In particular Audrey.. She was aggressive, negative, confrontational and condescending. The only recommendation I would give people is to stay away from this hotel and book where family’s and large groups are welcome.

The hotel survived well the Covid times; still in good shape and well maintained. No problem here.Breakfast did not make it. It used to be good, copious and plentyfull. It is now down to motel level.Inside parking is good: for a fee. Understandable.Outside parking is also good: for a fee???? Why??You are not in NewYork; you are in Sherbrooke :-)The most schocking and no longer acceptable: single usage plastic glasses for the breakfast juices??!!??Take 50 guests per mornig x 365 days = 18250 more plastic pieces thrown away per year, just for you. Shame!Glass is available.

$12 parking, can't go between floors to visit people without a key...so annoying. Breakfast is just ok, bar is limited and gym is so small for a large hotel. Room's are nice as it's in a good location.

Hotel resides right near downtown, the river and trails. Rooms are nice and clean with all the regular amenities. Breakfast is barley continental at best, bar is non-existent only beer and wine for purchase. Pool is nice however the gym is at best laughable and does not open until 7a.m. which is not convenient for business travelers. Traveling for business and needed a place to sit and work does not exist either only 2 plugs in the entire lobby/sitting area and not in convenient places either. Overall nice hotel and friendly staff, however if traveling for business I would chose a different hotel.

The negative comments for this hotel have me baffled. It's a nice, clean, up to date hotel in a wonderful location.We stayed for several days and found everything to be very convenient and comfortable. There's a walking path and lake behind the hotel and there was a festival that had fireworks that we perfectly viewed from the back terrace. Coffee, breakfast, and dinner spots are within easy walking distance.My only suggestions would be to provide more lighting in the elevators and to slightly reduce the room scent on the lobby.

Beautiful place. The view from our room was great. The down side... didn't find the bed or pillows comfortable. And the breakfast was not up to the hotels beauty. Breads, jams, yogurt, Oatmeal. The fresh fruit was awful. The worst part was that they have plenty of parking,in and out, but the charge you for parking.

Room was nice...not enuf lighting and AC or at least FAN is not enabled in winte, room got stuffy and too hot cuz of carperts and no way to get fresh air insine..they offered little fans but we refused for principal reasons that all things should be available.. the fireplace didn't even work to make it extra romantic...but it was too hot anyway. As for the view....very nice staff was not to MY liking

Very...very... very poor brakefast.Charged 3.99 for a 1 L. botle of water. left in the toilet.Apparently 460 + $ for 2 days weren't enaugh to cover a bottle of water...ridiculous. Thanks god I didn't use hair dryer...You never now what to expect...
