Denise connects with her students on a professional, personal and spiritual level. She teaches yoga with a very deep knowledge of the practice and philosophies behind it, helping her students to make the most of their yoga journey.

I have never been to the studio in person, but have been doing my yoga teacher training with Denise since September. I feel completely supported and am given ample feedback and opportunities to teach full classes in my 200hr journey. It is not easy to transition to a fully virtual format, but Denise has done a great job of collecting her resources into an online course. I love that most of the learning is done synchronously over Zoom in monthly intensive weekends, but that we have access to this vast resources forever. I would definitely recommend going to Atlas Studio for your teacher training if you want to come out feeling confident and supported.

Atlas Studio feels like a home away from home. The compassionate and nurturing energy of the space provides a feeling of welcoming that can only be compared to the warm hugs of childhood.It is an incredibly inclusive space, and small class sizes allow for one on one support and class tailoring to fit individual needs.If you are looking for a studio that can nurture your practice and gently expose you to new ways of being, look no further. Atlas Yoga Studio is a beautiful space which has been cultivated by a very kind-hearted owner. Denise puts an incredible amount of effort into each of her classes, connecting with her students by acknowledging their efforts and supporting their practice and goals. This is a rare kind of studio where you will practice a yoga which supports your well-being and soul. It is not about Instagram-worthy photos or what size Lululemon you're wearing. I drive from downtown Kitchener to this studio as it is truly refreshing and rewarding attending a class at Atlas.

Atlas Yoga has been the heart and home of my yoga studies since 2005. Twelve years along, I have yet to find a studio that lives up to the compassionate, welcoming, playful energy that Atlas upholds. The classes are always dialled in to the level of the students in the class, offering accommodations for beginners and advanced students alike. Denise's dedication to her community is unparalleled, from what I've encountered in all my years of practice. I am forever grateful for Atlas!!!

Atlas Yoga Studio & School has been an integral part of my daily living. What once began as a few practices here and there has turned into a passion. I have almost completed my 200hr YTT and i am about to embark on another journey in October as I continue my studies for 500hr YTT. The community is loving and supportive and Denise is an amazing teacher who has so much to offer. I teach Mondays and Wednesdays at 12p to 1230p Yoga Break and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 930a - 1030a Chair Yoga. Join us for a class. There are a wide variety of styles and times to suit your needs.

As someone who has taken the 200h Teacher Training with Atlas Yoga School, I highly recommend taking any of the trainings Denise offers - whether it be a specialty course, or any of the levels of teacher trainings if that is what you are looking for. All the Atlas programs are flexible and student-centred and you will come away feeling confident, knowledgable and skilled!!

I love Atlas Studio. I've taken classes at many different yoga studios and none of them have compared to Atlas. Denise brings so much knowledge and wisdom to each class, you will leave feeling incredible and likely having learned something too. Atlas has such a special place in my heart. 10/10 would recommend.

I decided to join Atlas Yoga Studio because from the second I walked into the studio it felt like home. I choose to do my yoga teacher training here because Denise is incredibly knowledgeable. I teach at the studio when I can but all of the teachers at Atlas are amazing! My favourite thing to do is come to Atlas as a student because there is so much you can learn. So grateful I found this studio!
