We did a home renovation on a 1950's bungalow that, due to many sins of the past, required FAR more work than was initially anticipated.From our first consultation with Island Builders, Dave Novak and his team showed their years of expertise and professionalism.From design to final delivery, Dave and team shepherded our project on as though it was their own home. For the first half of the reno, we were out of province, and we never wondered what was happening as Dave called, texted and sent pictures regularly, and never assumed anything. He always called to confirm details which made being so far away a much less anxious process.The final result is more than we could have expected, and we could not be more grateful!

Professionalism at its finest.We hired Island Builders to build a sunroom for us by enclosing our back deck in glass. The people who worked on our sun deck were respectful, professional and maintained a meticulous work-site throughout the process. The end result was spectacular and better than we had ever imagined. A special shout-out to Sam for taking care of everything and doing such fine work on our house. Island Builders built an add-on sunroom for us which is exactly what we wanted. Dave (owner/manager) and Sam (builder) were a genuine pleasure to work with. Their advice was sound and sensible, the workmanship is of the highest quality and we are delighted with our new sunroom. Building during Covid19 was complicated by materials shortages and worker diversions but Sam kept us fully informed and completed the project as quickly as possible. We strongly recommend this company.

Island Builders were very easy to work with from start to finish. They provided a site manager who was a good communicator and kept the site clean at the end of each day. The owner communicated immediately about any questions or issues. The subtrades provided excellent work and returned if there were any small details missed or needed fixing. Even now, one and a half years later, I received immediate attention for a small granite chip. We highly recommend this company.
