The Refuge Barber & Supply

I've been going to The refugee for about 7 years now and Jeff has always been my barber. Only man I trust with my hair, he always kills it. It's a cool atmosphere in there, craft beer, whiskey. Hip hop and anything else you'd want in a good barbershop! 10/10 would recommend!

Been seeing Jeff for around 5 years now, and he gives me the best cut I’ve ever had. Even when he injured his wrist he craft did not suffer.

Awesome and unique place to come for a great classic barber cut. Chad was my barber that day and did an awesome job. My only point of critique is that in “The Ace” cut, it states a straight razor finish after a hair cut which I realized afterwards wasn’t done but charged for. Otherwise, Chad did a great job. I’ll definitely be back!

Without a doubt, the worst haircut I have gotten in my life.My longtime barber from my old city took several pictures and wrote a description of what my haircut needed to look like. I showed the barber, Jeff, these pictures and he proceeded to turn me facing away from the mirror so I could not see what he was doing. I provided reminders of what I needed from the haircut throughout the session. Jeff ended up cutting most of my hair off, giving me no length. My hair is naturally curly and it was cut so short that it now sticks up. He did not confirm the length he was going to take off before he did it and I could not see what he was doing because I was faced away from the mirror. In fact, the front of my hair is now shorter than the back. It is completely inappropriate that things were done to a new customer without confirming, especially when it comes to hair.In the end, after voicing my concerns, Jeff didn't want to let me pay, which I respect. However, it is me who has to live with this haircut for the next few weeks.

Came in for a hair cut and hot shave and can't be more pleased. Top notch hair cut and shave. , Great vibe, friendly staff, clean shop with great products. I will be continuing coming to The Refuge for my weekly cut.

I've been going to this place for a year now seeing Chad. I've for the most part been happy with my cuts from him, but lately he doesn't listen to what I ask and just does whatever he wants. I've been telling him the last 3 hair cut and beard trims that my goal is to grow my beard out as long as I can in the upcoming year, I just wanted a minor trim to make it look nice for some family photos, but every time now he trims it back down to the same length it was before... I compared to some old photos I have to make sure it wasnt just in my head. He's a young guy and maybe listening to your customers comes more with experience. He does a good job" but not what I wanted. I sadly won't be back. You pay a premium at this barbershop... I expect to get what I ask for."

I have never really grown out my beard, yet I've let it grow since November. I have been to other so called barber" shops but have never been impressed with the outcome. I visited on April 14 and Jeff did an amazing job trimming and sculpting my beard as well as giving me advice on how take care of it. Thank you and I will definitely be back again."
