Woodward Meats Uptown

My husband and I met David Wilson last Fall as he was setting up the Brookdale location. Since then, they've become our go to source for all of our meats. My husband is an avid BBQer/Smoker, and we've tried many of their items - duck magret, various cuts of steaks, Guinness battered cod, spicy chicken cutlets, etc. They've nailed their value equation - top quality for the price. Highly recommended!

Woodward has an amazing variety of products for an unbeatable price. We stopped buying our ground beef, chicken, fish, and steaks from Metro / Loblaws just because it was 1) cheaper and 2) quality isn't even comparable. Lots of good snack food too like chicken tenders and pizzas. Dave is also a stand up guy who knows his stuff and will help you out with any questions

Wasn't sure what to expect from frozen meat but quality is top notch. I dare say better than some of the high end grocers in the area. Please start selling to cottage area!!!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that Woodward Meats are making their products available to the general public. I am continually amazed how tasty and easy to digest their meats are! I have IBS and usually cannot tolerate red meat at all. Well, with Woodward Meats I do not have any issues. It's fabulous!This location is great for me as well, not too far from home, easy to find AND because it is on a side street it's easy to park in front of, load up (with the courteous help of David Wilson of course!!) and off ya go!! Oh, and how smart are they, they now have a blackboard posting that you can pick up some product you may have forgotten to order AND in smaller quantities! They are thinking on their feet!!Gosh I hope this continues well past the duration of this virus.

Excellent quality, great pricing, and conveniently packed for freezer storage. Customer service is top notch too. Family's been ordering here since summer 2020... both home essentials (ground beef/chicken/turkey, salmon filets, whole chickens, chicken thighs) and also some splurge cuts (beautifully marbled tomahawk steaks, Alo partnered prime rib roast). Never disappoints.

We discovered Woodwards through a friend last summer and love it .The new Brookdale store is perfect....don't even have to get out of my car. Everything is exceptional but I can't say enough about the thick New York striploins!

Woodward Meats checks all the boxes. Fantastic meat. Easy ordering and payment. Convenient North Toronto location. Good parking. The premium cuts are a real treat and top notch quality. My wife and I split a 20oz Bone in rib eye on the weekend. Absolutely worth the money. Pro tip: The salmon, ground beef, bacon and chicken thighs are a great deal compared to the grocery store. Plus the quality is far better. Ask David for some recommendations. He will not disappoint you.

Top quality meats available at this convenient location. PurchAsed the Chicken Nuggets, and use these on our air fryer for quick snack convenience, and they taste just like a famous chain chicken nuggets. Flavour, batter and all.

Since early on during COVID we discovered Woodwards through word of mouth. We learned they were suppliers to various restaurants in the city prior to lockdown and had to pivot their business. We were beyond thrilled to discover the incredible quality of meats (as well as some seafood) and set up a convenient outpost in North Toronto. (We were ordering and picking up from a truck parked at Yonge & York Mills for a while). Picked up a few Wagyu Steaks for special occasions. What a treat!
