Fast procedure

IUD removal. Clean, professional and supportive place. I was able to book an appointment for an IUD removal procedure within the week. I think the clinic could benefit from trauma-informed care training.Although it was a fast procedure, I feel like compassionate care was sacrificed for speed. The nurse did not walk me through what was happening for this type of procedure or what it would be like. She did not tell me what were the instruments going in and out of my body. I have been to other clinics before where they tell you what they are doing while they are using instruments inside your body (I.e “This instrument is X and it is going to do X” and “I am going in, I am coming out, I am moving to the left etc.”Instead, she just quickly probed me with the ultrasound instrument and quickly took it out without any communication.I felt like she was rushing. You don’t want to feel like any procedure to do with vulnerable parts of your body are being rushed. She wasn’t able to find my cervix & had to call in the doctor to find it.. which was fine. I am just wondering if incessantly pushing the instrument around trying to locate my cervix (which was very uncomfortable, obviously) could have been avoided if she slowed down and wasn’t rushing. This is just my personal opinion and how I feel it went :/Communication during procedures like this is so vital to the patient’s experience and to avoid any retraumatization.

Really welcoming place, they have always taken me on short notice and are usually very quick. All of the employees here are very nice and respect your privacy as well.

Amazing staff whom gave non judgmental and compassionate care. Services were informative, quick and to the point.

Called and left messages but no response. Wrote email and no response. I don't know why people are giving them a 5 star review. May be they are too busy and no need for any new business.=====================I meant the email I sent on Dec 8 9:59am. Until now still no reply. The owner's comment was not valid. I wonder how they define timely manner?

This clinic made me feel welcomed and listened to. They were very knowledgable and helpful and assisted me quickly and efficently. It is definetly a great resource to have.

THE BEST OF THE BESTi dont know why people are not rating this clinic a 5 STAR, but it’s 5 STAR for me. FAST PROCEDURE, and non judgemental clinic, receptionist and nurse are very nice and soft spoken.
